Balance (BNHA x Reader)

Chapter 1

You are (Y/n) Wisteria, A recommended student to UA who has multiple quirks. 4 to be exact. You aren't one of those elemental cringey heroes, you have light, shadow, scent smelling, and quirk blocking. (Your hair is black and white due to the light and shadow part of ur quirk). All quirks but the smelling have a drawback, too much light, you go angel loco. Too much shadow, you morally stray. Finally to block someone's quirk you need some sort of DNA. Anyways, today is the recommended exam, and boy you are excited.

"Bye (Y/n)!Bye Sam!" Dad shouts at me and my brother with pride as he dives away after dropping us off at the Recommended version of the exam. Unlike me, my brother has light and quirk blocking. As we walk in, I smile. It smells so good, Everyone's scents are mixing together causing the air to smell like a bakery. I wave my brother a goodbye as we head off in separate directions. I look around and happen to lock eyes a boy maybe around my age with Heterochromia eyes. He has dual coloured hair- much like my own, but red and white. He begins to walks over as a girl with black hair intercepts him and forces him into a convo with her. The dual haired male continues to listen to this girl who seems to be bugging him.

Hmmm, I should help him...

I shuffle my way through the crowd until I reach them.

"Uh hey-" I start only to be cut off by this girl.

"Hi! I'm Yaoyarozu Momo!" Yaoyarozu says. Lemon... She smells lemony but in a sour way.

"Nice to meet you I'm (y/n)," I say.

"Yeah. I was just about to say hi." The dual coloured male says.

"Ah sorry. I'll take my leave, good luck Todoroki." Yaoyarozu walks off.

"So Todoroki- you're Endeavor's son... Right?"

"Yes."

Peaches and vanilla.

"Not to be weird, especially since I have the nose of a dog- but you smell good," I comment.

Todoroki gives me a weird look.

"And what smells would be considered good smelling? " He asks.

"Peach and vanilla. That Yaoyorozu girl smelled like lemons. Quite sour. Also, how do you know her?"

"Parents. My dad believes she would be a good candidate for a quirk marriage." Todoroki sighs.

"Pffft. Quirk marriages suck. Their kids are bred to be powerful and that's what the parents do. They torture the kids until they reach their limits. Their life sucks, in some ways I the wife doesn't consent it's considered rape in some cultures and the moth-"

"I'm a child of a quirk marriage." Todoroki interrupts.

"Oh, shit- so-" Todoroki cuts me off before I can apologize.

"I don't need your pity."

"I-" I start to speak only to be cut off by one of the pro heroes proctoring the exam.

"Welcome to the entrance exam! This is the practical part of your exam here you will be running a 2-mile race course with different obstacles. We will be doing 5 students at a time. Group 1:

Yaoyarozu Momo.

Mikasi Megumi

Tana Suki

Hanako Suzaku

I watch my brother. First obstacle- robots. Fairly easy. Need 10 points to pass and Each one is worth 2. Second obstacle. Pro hero Eraserhead. Much like our quirk he can erase someone else's. Sam uses Yaoyarozu to his advantage because she's in front of him therefore her quirk gets erased. Sam runs past eraser head and grabs one of his hairs and disables Eraserhead's quirk and continues to run for a while before allowing the pro-hero to be able to use his quirk. The 3rd obstacle is a minefield. Sam simply turns to light and floats over it and comes in first- Yaoyarozu comes in second- a full minute behind. Then Mikasi only about 10 seconds behind. Then Hanako- a mere 5th of a second behind Mikasi. After them, Tana. She was a good 30 seconds behind.

"(L/N) and Yaoyarozu passed!

Yoarashi Inasa. Go to your starting point! Get ready! And... go!!!! "

Immediately I send shadow spikes at least 8 robots, well knowing that would cause someone else not to be able to finish. Seeing how there are 5 for each person. Todoroki managed to steel another 7. Then Yoarashi got another 7. That left 5- enough for 1 person, as I spot Eraserhead, I turn into a shadow and flew right past him. As for the minefields- I blew it up. I created a light surfboard and sailed from mine to mine. I came in first with a record-breaking time.0: 4:10. Todoroki came In at 0:5:00. Yoarashi came in at 0:5:30. The other 2 couldn't make it past the robots. The last 2 groups, well one group no one made or past Eraserhead in time they all finished after 0:06:00. In the last group, there was 1 qualifier. Leon Hitachii. His quirk is astral lion.

"Alright. In the end, we have the (L/N) Siblings, Todoroki Shoto, Yaoyarozu Momo, Yoarahi Inasa, and Hitachii Leon. Please follow me to where you will be doing interviews." Eraserhead tells us. We follow him to an office where a mouse greets us.

"Hello, I'm principal Nezu. I will be conducting the interviews." The small mouse says. "After the interview, those of you who passed will know. Those who live very far away will be assigned dorms."

"We both made it Sis!" My brother high fives me.

"Congratulations." Hitachii smiles at us.

"Thanks! Hitachii-san." I smile and walk over. His scent is like firewood.

"Just call me Leon." He smiles.

"Then call me (Y/N)." I smile. "That is my brother Sam."

"Hi." Sam waves from where I left him.

"So did you get in Leon?" I ask.

" Yeah! I'm super excited. It's gonna be so much fun." Leon smiles.

"I can't wait to see you around UA!" I smile.

"Same goes for you (y/n)," Leon responds.

My phone buzzes.

"My dad's here, but see you around. I'll be dorming because we live pretty far away." I smile.

"Oh cool. See you in the dorms!" Leon waves as I walk to the car with my brother.
