Chapter 4

I looked down the hall to where Enji was training Shotou. (Y/n) smelled something was a bit off... Almost like blood.

"I smell blood..." She commented worriedly.

"Wait here," I told her as I decided to check it out, after all, he was the prized child.

I peak in through the door. The room was soundproof and as soon as I opened it I could hear everything. I ran in and it closed behind me. His 'training' was more like mental and physical abuse.

"DAD WHAT THE FUCK?" I yelled, running over to Shoto.

Shoto looked up at me, fear struck. He was bleeding.

"Toya. What are you doing in here? You know you're not allowed in here." Enji stated with a stern tone.

I don't answer.

"Out of the way. Shoto needs to train."

I stood there.

"Fine," Enji said, he grabbed me by my shirt collar and threw me at a wall. I tried to stop, but I heard a sickening snap come from my wrist. I shook off the pain the best I could and walked toward Enji and activated my quirk. Purple fire danced around me. It burned away my shirt and I charged at Enji. He was able to stop me, his fire burned my arm. Then he looked back to Shoto.

"Back off!" I yelled. "Can't you see he's hurt?! You've done enough!"

At that moment the door opened once again. (Y/n) stepped in.

She lunged at him, and he dodged. Little to Enji's knowledge she picked one of his hairs and then deactivated his quirk. He sent punches at her, all which she was able to avoid. She looked at me in a single moment.

'Attack.' She mouthed.

Then, barely a second later, she was struck by Enji. She activated her shadow quirk as well. She floated upwards in a cloud of shadow. The area around her eyes became scaley and black. Her eyes were pure light. I helped her. I shot fire, burning my old man's face, then (y/n) suffocated him using her shadow. My wrist worsened. Then, (y/n) almost killed him.

"(Y/n)!" I called out to her. She stopped and looked at me. Then all the shadow disappeared and she fell.

Shoto managed to catch her.

"We have to get out of here." I breathed out.

Shoto nodded. We headed back to the living room. After we got a first aid kit we headed to my room.

"Shoto?" (Y/n) meekly asked.

"Yeah... It's me." He said.

"Lay her down on my bed," I said. Shoto did as instructed. I head over to the bed.

"Toya." She smiled weakly.

"(Y/n)..." I breathed out and I hugged her. It was 1 arm, but still a good hug.

"Your wrist." She comments.

It hung limply at my side.

"It'll heal." I kissed her forehead.

She pushed me away and grabbed my arm, with the broken wrist.

"Shoto, Can I have some bandage wrap and a ruler or something?" She asked.

"Yeah." He handed her 2 rulers and a bandage wrap.

"Thank you!" She smiled.

"You guys should go..." The younger Todoroki said as a loud animalistic roar was heard from the training wing.

"Yeah... Let's all go-" (Y/n) started, but was quickly interrupted by my brother.

"No. You guys go. I'll stay." Shoto bravely said.

"Alright. We'll be at my house- Yui is gonna be coming over soon though." (Y/n) mentioned as she climbed over the bed and grabbed me a shirt.

"TOUYA! SHOTO! I SWEAR WHEN I FIND YOU GUYS, TE BOTH OF YOU ARE DONE FOR. " Enji Yelled. He was even close

"Go." Shoto said while I slipped on my shirt.

"Stay safe bro." I smiled and we climbed out my window.

"Yeah... You too." Shoto looked worriedly towards the door.

"See you around Shoto." (Y/n) smiled.

And with that we left.
