   Prince Stephan and Ivris came back to the palace and Ivris went straight to the Queen's room, she needed to get permission

  She got to the door of the Queen's room and knocked,

   "Come in!" the Queen said

  Ivris got in and sat on the bed

  "Good evening your highness, sorry to disturb you during your rest hour but I need to ask something of you" Ivris said    

  The Queen turned around in her chair and looked at Ivris

"It's no problem at all, what do you want my dear?, go ahead and ask" the Queen said smiling at her

  Ivris smiled back and said "It's just a little favor, nothing to worry about, I just wanted permission to go out of the castle tomorrow, I want to take a tour round the kingdom and also speak to the people, you know, find out as much as I can and most especially speak to those that have been victims, better heard from the horse's mouth, and the earlier the better" Ivris said

The Queen chuckled and said

"You don't need my permission Ivris, you're free to do so, just be careful"

  Now it was Ivris turn to chuckle

  "Careful is my middle name my Queen, don't worry I'll be safe, goodnight your highness" Ivris said and stood to go

  "Goodnight Ivris" the Queen said and Ivris left.

     Breakfast the next day went as usual, after breakfast Ivris dressed up and left, she was excited to go around and see the village and finally start solving the mystery that was waiting to be solved.

She was on her way out when Prince Stephan walked up to her and gave her a hug, Ivris hugged him back, they released each other and looked at themselves then burst out laughing

  "Okay I must admit, that was awkward, but I want to know, why did you hug me?" Ivris asked

Prince Stephan sighed and said

"Because I'll miss you today, I wish I could come but I have some matters to attend to today, but I'll definitely come with you some other day I promise"

Ivris smiled and gave him another hug, then climbed her horse and rode off, waving goodbye to Stephan till she was out of sight.

  Prince Stephan waved back too and smiled, "That girl just amazes me" he said to himself then went in to start early so that he could  finish quickly and be free for the rest of the day, he wanted to hear all that Ivris will find out and he didn't want any interruptions at all.

He got to his office, sat at the desk and said "Alright, lets do this"

  Ivris rode round the village, she met some villagers, talked with them, and found out all they knew, and then she went into the forest to do some meditation, as she was riding, a cloud of black smoke formed before her into a man

  "Uh... did I walk into a magic show? I'm really sorry for interrupting you mister" Ivris said reversing her horse

"Actually no, not at all" he said stepping forward and smiling at her

"I've actually been waiting for you, I'm glad my patience finally paid off" he finished

  "Oh" Ivris said, coming down from her horse and stepping towards the man

"And who may you be?" she asked

"I was getting to that, I, in all my glory, am Agrest, the greatest sorcerer of all times, you must have heard of me so much, I know, I'm the greatest after all, the popularity comes with my greatness, so it is expected"

Ivris couldn't help but stare at him dumbfounded, she had never heard of him before, even in all his glory, and never had she come across someone who was so self conceded and egotistical.

Ivris crossed her arms and said "Sorry to burst your bubble but I have never heard of you before, in all your glory"

Agrest huffed and started circling her,

  "So you're the one I'm supposed to watch out for, the one who supposedly will dethrone me from my seat of glory, the one who will defeat me" he said stopping in front of her.

Ivris smiled and started circling him

When she was done accessing him she scoffed and said

"So you're the one I've been briefed about, the nameless sorcerer that torments the kingdom, well, it was nice Chatting with but, but I have to get back to the castle, it's getting late"

  "Ah, scared much?"

"I fear no one or anything, just maintaining my curfew"

  And with that she turned around and went back the way she came from.

"Well, they did say she was feisty, it's not going to be an easy one but I will crush her, I'll let her slide for now because it's the first time we're meeting, next time I won't be so chatty"

Agrest said and disappeared in the same cloud of thick black smoke he came in.
