Chapter 22

Star woke up warm and cozy. She had that feeling you have when you just wake up and are  so comfortable you just want to lay there forever,

"Marco," Star looked up to see her boyfriend reading a book with one hand with the other arm around star.

Marco peaked over the top of the book to see star awake. He set his book down and moved some hair out of her face, "morning beautiful,"

For a moment star forgot about her problems and just smiled, " good morning to you as well Mr. Diaz." As she leaned up to kiss him she ignored all the things around her and focused on him.

"Ok, Miss, Loveberry we have some questions we would like to ask you."

Mina spun around the face the people looking at her, " I'm not telling you nothing, " as she slammed her cuffed hands to the table.

The two men looked at each other than at Mina. " ma, am do these photos mean anything to you," they show Mina pictures of Star and Marco.

She squinted at the photos, " oh yeah those are the monster smoochers I told the other people about, watch out if you try the hurt their precious monsters they will get you,"

One of the men rubbed his brow, " ma, am our research show that these monster smoochers are two teens that have from what we heard done a lot of good and you seem to be the enemy."

Mina nodded, " that's how they trick ya they act all nice when you try to help then wham they beat ya into the ground,"

The men thanked her then left the room, a woman was looking threw the one-sided glass at Mina was standing there. The woman had red hair with a single long braid laid over her shoulder. She wore a hat and a very casual outfit.

The men walk over to her and asked. " what are your instructions ma, am," she moved to face them and spoke calmly with complete control. "I want you to watch over this monster smoochers as she calls them. I don't see them as a threat, but I've been wrong before, come back in a week with a report."

The two men nodded then left. The woman turned towards the glass and spoke to herself, " I don't know what happened at echo creek or how but I will know why and what are these peoples intentions,

Star and Marco both got dressed let alone separately. When Star came out of the bathroom she was wearing one of her many outfits and instead of her hair being down she put it up in a ponytail.

"So how do I looked," she said posing, she got no answer that was when she realized Marco wasn't in his room she looked around upstairs but could find him.

"Marrrrcccoooo," she said in a singing way she looked downstairs he was not coking, but doing something on a piece of paper. She ran over to him and plopped down, "watcha writing,"

He chuckled "oh nothing just writing some stuff fo-," that when he realized who he was talking to. He laughs nervously, " oh hey Star what am I working oh nothing, what are you working on," Star raised an eyebrow. Then Marco sprinted upstairs.

Star puffed and yelled up the stairs, " ya know hiding it is gonna make me find it more." She waited for him to come back down but this time Janna and Tom followed behind, " oh so it happened to you guys too." They nodded tiredly

Marco was acting weird, He was very nervous around Star and whenever she tried to speak with him he would run off, well this time Star had enough.

Marco had grabbed Tom and pulled him into the broom closet, Star had followed them and put her ear up to the door and listened to their conversation.

Marco spoke first, "Come on man I need your help" Tom groaned

"Dude just tell her it will be fine trust me she won't be scared off."

"I don't know man what if she overstimulated and sees it as weird and doesn't like me anymore."

"Dude we both know that won't happen." Marco sighed

"Yeah, your right I'm just kinda freaked out about it."

Tom rolled his eyes " I can't believe I'm about to do this, ok Marco try on me," Marco raised an eyebrow

"Come on man I'm trying to help, just act like I'm Star and tell me what you need to."

Marco wipes his brow, " ok here it goes, Star you I-I don't know how to say it, you a part of me every time I hear your voice I get excited for no apparent reason. I hold Your soft hand and it feels like I shoot for the sky and your eyes oh god your eyes, every time I look into your beautiful diamond blue eyes it's like I sink into them like it's just me and you together no one else just us together. Nothing I say could really describe how I feel toward you Star but I want you to know no matter how hard it gets, no matter what I will be with you holding you and loving you no matter what,"

Marco looked up at Tom, " how was that," Tom started to speak but star opened the door smashing Tom.

She had tears in her eyes, "Marco d-did you mean all that stuff you said," she walked up to him and put her hand on his chest looking up at him tears filling her eyes.

" uh- uh I " he took and deep breath and burst into his own tears, " yes Star yes I meant all of it every single word," he wrapped his arms around her, lifting her off the ground holding her up

She put her hand to his face and sniffled, " Marco Diaz I want to spend my every waking moment with you, I want to hold you close and I want you to hold me, I'm glad the magic brings us to each other every night because without your warmth and love I couldn't sleep at night.

They both smiled at each other laughed a small bit then they grabbed each other and they pulled themselves into a kiss. Not like their other kisses. Those were flies with love, but this kiss came with more tenderness and heart into it they now know how they truly feel towards each other

This kiss lasted a bit longer than their others when they pulled apart Marco's moved his hand to her cheeks he wiped her tears away he chuckled, "Your hearts are back," she just smiled and laughed "that just means it was a good kiss."

They held each other their foreheads leaning against each other, " I love you Star," Star held Marco tighter, "I love you too."

She pulled him into another kiss, once they separated they stared into each other's eyes. Marco looked around it seems like tom made his way out, "come on follow me." He grabbed stars arm and lead her to his back door,

"Are we sneaking out," Star asked, Marco nodded in response, " but don't worry we aren't going to far. He lead her threw an alleyway behind his house. Moving and turning a the right times when they reached the end of the neighborhood Marco brought Star to a small patch of trees.

"Marco where are we," he looked around, "just follow me. Once they mad it through the woods they ended up at a small lake side area where the sky was dark even though is was the morning, it was as if this place was night time at all time

"Marco it-it's beautiful," he sat down and she sat next to him. "When did you find this place." Marco shrugged I'm not sure exactly all I can remember is a soon as I saw this place I knew you had to see it.

She understood why it's  beautiful, " look at all the beautiful stars and the lake it's so relaxing," Marco smiled, rubbed his neck and wrappered his arm around Star pulling her closer to him and she leaned her head in his shoulder

"You know Star there is one star in this place more beautiful than any of the others," she giggled, " and which one is that." He smiled

"I think you know which one I'm talking about
