Chapter 2

~Kat's POV~

I woke up the next morning in a hotel room. I sat up and looked around, then seen Devin was asleep in the other bed.

"Devin...?" I whispered.

He didn't move or anything so I left him alone. I went in the bathroom and closed and locked the door. I pulled up the sleeves of my shirt and Devin's hoodie and he knocked on the door.

"Kat. You ok?" He asked softly.

I pulled down the sleeves of his hoodie and opened the door. "Yeah. I'm fine. Thanks."

He smiled, "Good. I hope you didn't mind sleeping in the same room as me. Chris thought it would be best since you were cuddled up to me, and, yeah."

"I know I've only known you for a few hours but you're like a brother. I don't know if it's just me being a fangirl but it seems like you think of me as a sister, or daughter." I blushed slightly.

He chuckled, "Yeah. You're right. It's not just you. I do think of you as a daughter to be completely honest. I don't know if that's weird or not but yeah."

~Devin's POV~

She's not going back to her family. I can't let her get hurt anymore. I know, I shouldn't be saying that she's like a daughter to me but she is. I'm going to do what I can to get her away from her family and living with me and the rest of the band.

"Kat. I'm going to do eveything I can to get you away from your family and with me and the guys." I smiled and hugged her.

She looked up to me and smiled, "Thank you." She pulled up the sleeves on my hoodie and sat on the bed she was sleeping on.

I walked over to her and sat on the floor infront of her. "Remember that me, Chris, Ricky, Ryan, Josh, and Vinny are all here to help you. I promise." I gently kissed her wrist then pulled the sleeves of the hoodie down. "So Ryan wants us all to meet him in the lobby so we can go to breakfast. You wanna go?"

Kat looked down and shook her head 'no'. "Not really... I kind of just want to spend more time with you since you seem to be the one most willing to help me.." She whispered.

I went over to my bed and put on a shirt. "Alright. Let's go tell the guys then and we will go somewhere else to get breakfast if you want."

She smiled slighty and grabbed her phone off the bedside table since that was all she had with her.

We went downstairs and told the guys what we were going to do. After they left me and Kat went to a small coffee shop, had some coffee, talked, and told eachother about ourselves. Of course, just like everywhere no matter what girl any of us are with, there were jealous fangirls, but Kat seemed to take it ok.
