So, as requested, (by, like, 2 people) I'll be telling you all a semi-creepy story from when I was little.
So, when I was around 3 or 4 years old I lived in a small apartment with my mom and dad. I had a bunch of imaginary friends and had the most wild imagination.
One day, early in the morning (maybe 6am) and my parents were still sleeping, I was in the kitchen grabbing a poptart. Now the kitchen was like right next to the door, this will be important to this story.
As I'm enjoying my poptart I hear a man's voice on the other side of the door say "hello." Of course, I was little so that didn't scare me. I just thought it was a new friend or something.
Now, you probably think that this voice was just my imagination, but my imagination usually made me friends my age or were magical creatures. Never have I made a friend that sounded like a grown man. Also, all my imaginary friends I could obviously see, not on the other side of the door.
I look out the window next to the door to see who was there, and I see nobody. I shrug that off like the dumb child I was, guessing he was an invisible super hero or something.
I go back to the door, standing in front of it. I knew not to open the door. Even my stupid kid self knew I'd get in trouble for letting a stranger in or leaving without them.
"Hi!" I respond to the voice. I was happy as any kid to meet a new friend.
"How are you?" They ask.
"Good." I answer.
I continue talking to the voice as it asked my name, how old I was, my favorite color, etc.
Suddenly, I hear my parents door open and my mom asked "Haylee, what are you doing?"
"Talking to the man behind the door." I answer. My mom was obviously confused by my words and opened the door.
Nobody was there, like before, and my mom turns back to me.
"He's invisible, so you can't see him." I told her. She shrugged and just shut the door.
I never heard that voice again. When I look back it seems pretty creepy, but this could've just been my crazy child wonder.
