"I will be traveling to see Isabella at her manor this evening." I say stern and emotionless, as usual. "Can I come!" Taylor says as I grab my duffle. "Taylor, have you-" I start. I look off in he distance and see my train. "Next time, I got to go." I say as I walk calmly out the door. I run to catch the train my heart pumping.
As the train pulls up to the station. My heart beating out of my chest. I run out of he train straight to the manor. I knock on the large wooden door. A tall young woman with wine red hair opens the door. "VIOLET!" Isabella yells. I run up to hug her, my cold metal hands grasp her warm back. "Oh how I've missed you Violet." Isabella says sweetly. "Isabella how have you been?" I ask. I look at her beautiful black glasses sitting perfectly upon her pale face. "Actually a bit bored, I'm always in this manor and I feel as though I'm never free." She says sadly and looks down. I grab her chin softly and lift it up. "Hey, it's alright. I'm here now." I say. Her pale cheeks turn a bit pink.
We walk through her beautiful garden, the sun barely peaking through he trees. I grab her hand in mine as we walk down the path. I pick her a blue flower and place it softly in her hair. We walk back to the manor, her hand in mind. Butterflies flutter in my stomach, this feeling, I haven't felt it in a long time. Love. " Do you want me to give you a tour of my home?" Isabella asks me. "Sure Isabella!" I say sweetly. "Please, just call me Bella." She says. We walk into a big room. There is a tall muscular man sitting on the bed. Bella walks over to him and runs her hands through his dark brown hair. "This is my Fiancé, David." She says. My heart sinks. Sadness. I fall into a chair trying to hold back tears. Isabella is my hope, my dreams, and my heart. Now it's all shattered. "I-I must go." I say weakly. "Wait Violet, is something wrong?" She says confused. "N-No I'll be right back. I run out of the room, tears streaming down my face. "You are just a tool, meant for war. You aren't supposed to feel pain like this!" I yell into her bathroom mirror. I sit curled up in a ball on the floor. I hear a knock on the door. I stand up and look at my red puffy eyes. I splash my face with water. Not perfect, but good enough to put on a fake smile. I open the door, it's David. I give him a faint smile. "Are you okay?" He asks. "Yes." I lie.
"This will be your room Violet, stay as long as you'd like." Bella says. "Thank you for your hospitality." I say calmly as I walk to my bed and set my duffle down. "You are my best friend so I feel as though I am obligated to tell you everything." Isabella says sternly. "Of course, Bella. I am always here to talk." I say. I look at her troubled smile. "Me and David are getting married..." she says looking at the floor. "Yes, isn't that the point of a Fiancé?" I say confused. "Well yes, but I mean I'm getting married... tomorrow." She says sadly. My heart beats faster, shouldn't she be happy about finding love? "Oh, I am very happy for you." I say and look down. "Yes... happy." She says as she leaves the room. I look at her questioningly. Her face is gloomy. I get the things out of my duffle, and lay down on my bed. "Why the hell did you let her in here!?" I here a voice yell across the hall. "She's my best friend, I'm sorry. I missed her." Isabella says lovingly. "That's no excuse! Nobody is supposed to know what goes on in here." David says angrily. Isabella must be in danger, his voice was filled with rage. "I'm sorry..." Isabella says apologetic. Crash. I hear Isabella scream. "There are no excuses for what you've done." David says. I stand up and run out of the room. David is gone. I run and pick her up in my arms. "Isabella you don't need to be scared, I'm here now. I set her down in my bed, she's still trembling. I lay down next to her. "I-I'm so sorry. I should have told you early..." she says. "No it's okay. It's hard to think of what do do in that situation." I look down and rest my head on my pillow.
I open my eyes. A bright light flashes through the windows of the large manor room. "Violet! Time to get up! Are you exited about the wedding?" Bella says. I look up and Isabella and David are at my door.
