Come Thru

Once i got home i told Ashley about meeting up with Chris but i didn't tell her everything or about the money.
Ashley: so do you still love him
Me: of course i do
Ashley: well i think you guys should get back together
Me: Ashley girl i doubt he would wanna get back with me it's been years and i feel like he still mad about me not testifying
Ashley: girl let that shit go it's been years I'm sure he still loves you
Me: your prolly right.
Ashley: I'm always right. But I'm gonna head home and stuff i gotta finish up packing to move in
Me: Lmfaoo love you and yes hurry up and pack. God i told you this months ago
Ashley: ehh i know. But you know i love to do shit last minute
Me: yeah we know
" i walked Ashley out the apartment and watched as she pulled out my driveway" i closed my door and walked into my bed room. Ashley had put up some off my stuff up out the boxes. I was thankful because i honestly did not want to go searching for stuff tonight. I grabbed my towel and rag out the box and went to take a shower. I was exhausted and wanted to sleep.
30mins later
I got out the shower dried off and put on a blue stripped long sleeve button down shirt. i went to the kitchen and grabbed some food i had stored in The fridge while i was moving in. I heated up the left over Mac and cheese and buffalo chicken wing. Once my food was heated up i went into my room to watch tv. I turned on my favorite show " forensic files" i love watching criminal shows. I got so wrapped up into the show that i didn't realize what time it was until my phone dinged it was 10:00 and Chris texted me asking if he can come thru. I was hesitant to answer because 1: i didn't want him to know where i lived and 2: I'm not no damn booty call either.
I responded back to his text " what for" he texted "because i know you miss me". He was right i did miss him. I finally cave in and said "yes you can come thru but just know we are keeping it kind friendly". He said "that's fine with him but that doesn't mean he's gonna play easy with me" I rolled my eyes at the text and told him to pick up my favorite ice cream and some dusse he replied with " i gotchu love" i sent him over my address and he said he'll be here 30-50mins top. I left him on read and continued to watch my movie i didn't want him to think i was desperate for him. It was 11:00 when he showed up at my door. I opened the door in complete shock at how fine this man was i couldn't believe i was drooling over him again. I took the bag out his hand to make it look like i wasn't melting over him.
Chris: wow this apartment is nice
Me: thank you
Chris: how much you paid for this
Me: i mean does it matter ?
Chris: it does
Me: well rent is 2,000 but I'm splitting it with a my friend.
Chris: oh so you have a roommate?
Me: in a week i will. why does it matter?
Chris: it doesn't. i just wanna make sure your good i don't want you here by yourself.
Me: whatever. I'm always good.
" i grabbed the ice cream, cups, the dusse and spoon and walked to my bed room. I knew he would follow without me asking plus i know he was mesmerized by my body"
