His Fallen Angel

Chapter 5

Mercury's POV

   I wake up with a terrible headache. Then I remember, Venus, the escape. I panic. Looks like I was unconscious for an hour. I look for the boys and find them on the couch with ice placed on their hunters. I think they should better have an ice bath. I realize she knocked us down in 3 seconds, I knew she was good, but that's extraordinary. Damn!

"What are you doing ? How are you?" I ask them.

"Badddddd !!!" says Cassian.

"Bro, you chose an awesome one! But, I don't like it when I'm the beaten one."

"I understand, but do you want to help me  find her. Revenge time !" I scream.

"Always !"

   Due to my endless intelligence and my hacking abilities I enter the police database and take her address, it seems that she is the only Venus in Neptun City, what a luck. Her name is Venus Crescent Noctis, she is an only child  and in fact she had a different name , her surname is different from her parents and she is not married, so she changed her name and it shows that her file has been in existence since 2018, that means she had 15 years old. . Hmmm! Intriguing. However her address is Greenhill, 45.

   After I write down her address, I take the cute ones and get in the car. I am so panicked, she ran away from me 2 hours ago, anything can happen to her, especially in this place, this is the weird part of the city. We reach it in 20 minutes, but in front of us is not a house, but a box with windows. Now I understand why is she like this, maybe because of the lack of space, but I feel a little pity towards her. I realize she doesn't need that. I look at the boys and I realize they think the same thing.

   In unison, we get out of the car and head to the house. Not far from the house, I see a stray animal towards the forest, I always had a sweet spot for them. I go to it, hoping I can help it. But when I approach, I see colored hair. Wait a bit, I know a person with colored hair. Then I start to run.

   The scene in front of me is terrifying. My Venus is in pain, shirtless and with a bloody hand. I make a sound like an animal and fall to my knees, hearing the sound my friends come to me. I see their lips forming words, but I don't hear them. I am focused on the scene in front of me, my star has fallen. I raise her dying body in my arms. I hug her close to my chest and I let the tears fall, I haven't cried since I was a child, but seeing my love like this is destroying  me. I take my shirt off and put it on her. I don't want other men to see her like this, even if they are my friends.

   I feel a hand on my shoulder, I look up and see that Black is showing me something. A tent with an emblem in the form of a circle on it's stars, a crescent and a V. Her emblem.  I get up and run away with her in my arms and the boys on our track. I put her on the tent bed and what attracts my attention is the multitude of medical instruments, it seems she knew this would happen.

   Luckily, Cassian wants to be a doctor and has taken some training courses,  many courses. This will be helpful. I'm sure she wouldn't want us to take her to the hospital.

"Merc, stay with her and check her pulse, while nurse  Black and I are looking for what we need."

"Imhm !"

"What nurse ?NO !"

"Do you want her to die?" he says pointing at Venus, then he nods no."Then help me!"

   I lay down on her bed and put her on my chest, I feel her blood flowing from the wound on my skin, but I don't care. I check her pulse, steady but slowly. I hug her close to my body and cry harder and harder. My eyes are red and my heart beats too fast. I put  my lips close to her ear and whisper nonsense words "Please come back, my goddess!", "Fight, my little warrior." , "Live, come back to me!" , "Please don't go!". I feel her small, fragile body moving. Then I hear it.
