The guards were patrolling the castle in the middle of the night, but however for countless times, Princess Kim So Yeon could escape from the castle without being caught. She breathed in heavy, while running to the place where she could meet someone she loved dearly. She kept her head hanging low down under the black silk scarf to not be recognised by those who passing by. After minutes of little run, she silently looking admirely to the man who was sitting under the sakura tree, patiently waiting for her to come. He never knew the time when she would come or leave. At one moment, he would end up waiting until the sun rose again but she never came. One time, she was already sitting there, waiting for him.

"You must be running all the way long."
"Why ? Am I soaked in sweat now ?"
He nodded while wiping her sweat gently with his baby blue napkin. Her eyes only drifted into his dark brown sparkling eyes and she felt so comfortable. Only in front of him, she could show who really she was, the genuine of her, Kim So Yeon.
She destinied to be the only great-grandchild of Gyeongsun of Silla. Being a princess meant representing an entire country that affecting each and every part of her life. There were strict and sometimes weird rules set in place for her. "Tomorrow is my turn to come to your place. Be ready. I will take you to somewhere. I guarantee you're gonna be extremely happy. How about if we throw a bet ?"
"Whatever the bet is, I am in."
"Kim So Yeon, you need to ask what the bet is first before you say yes. How if it's not me but other man who ask you ?"
"It's because you're the one who ask me, not the other man."
"I think there's no need to throw a bet because you will lose anyway."
He smoothed her hair and smiled "I love you and I will marry you Kim So Yeon. I promise you that with all cost." He planted a sweet kiss on her forehead
"What do you mean with all cost ?" She pushed him away
"Would you stay with me even if I have nothing ?"
"You will always have me by your side, so that won't be happen. I will always be clingy to you even my hair turns grey. "
"I love you Kim So Yeon more than my own life."
Today seemed a good day for them, she could met him without any distractions.
Inside their own heart, they were hoping that tomorrow would be a good day too and things would get better.
