Flippy's POV
I was sitting on a bench talking with my friend Flaky. And she brought up someone by the name of Splendid. I had never heard that name before so I asked "Who is Splendid?" "Oh you dont know,he is the hero of this town."Flaky had said. He sounded like someone everybody looked up to. But,why did I get the feeling I've met him before? I say goodbye to Flaky and walk away. As I walked,I heard something that sounded like bombs. I turned around to see something blue flying in the sky. I try to look closer until a car almost hit me. I open my eyes to try and see who or what saved a person like me. I look to see a blue flying squirrel carrying me to safety. When they put me down on the ground I asked "Who are you and why did you save me?" "Oh,I'm Splendid and as for the second question it's because you were about to get hit by a truck" Splendid said. "Wait aren't you the one I saw by the store the other day?"
~Flashback to a few days ago~
No one's POV
Flippy was at the store buying food. When all of the sudden,Splendid ran behind him escaping all of the people that where following him. Flippy asked "Hey buddy what are you doing here?" "Oh uh Hey no time to chat sorry" Splendid said running away
~Back to the present~
Flippy's POV
I asked he said "Oh yeah sorry about that I was running away from a crowd of people" "You seemed really tired out from running" I said jokingly. We talked for a while after that and got to know eachother. "Well it was nice meeting you Flippy" he said smiling "You to Splendid" I calmly said. He said "Well I'd better head back home" "Me to,well bye"I said waving "Bye!" he said back.
Splendid's POV
I flew back home after I said bye to Flippy. But the thing was....I couldn't get him off my mind!!! His soft voice echoed in my head and his light green fur and also those sky blue eyes UGH!!!!! What is this feeling? Is this what love at first sight is? Am I in love? So many of these questions echoed in my mind. Hopefully,I can tell Flippy about this. The next day,I tried to find Flippy. Eventually,I found him in his house through a window. I could here him singing something and his singing is amazing. I knock on his door and he answers and says "Oh hey Splendid how'd you find me" "Oh I just happend to see you through the window" I said. "And your singing is really good!" "Really!?" Crap I cant believe I just said that "I'm sorry i didn't mean to say that outloud" I said nervously. I was surprised by the awnser "No it's ok I get it all the time" He said smiling at me. I blushed a littel and tried to hide it with my tail. "So you get compliments about your singing all the time?" I asked confused
"Yeah pretty much" he said scratching the back of his head. "Well If you want i could sing with you?" I asked him he said "Oh yeah of course you can" I was overjoyed to hear that awnser. So we decided to sing a song called 'Found'. I dont know this song I particular but I've heard it a couple of times and know the words. So I sang it with him and it was really fun. Apparently he was the girl in the song who goes by the name 'Spinel' and I was 'Steven'. At the end of the song Flippy grabbed my hand had pulled me in to dance and we danced. It was very fun,more fun than I thought. But,right when I almost fell on the floor Flippy caught me. "I almost fell there,hey you ok Flippy?" I asked. Flippy looked as if he was about to cry. I hugged him in my arms tight he hugged back. He was actually crying. How do I know? Well I can hear him sobbing in my chest. "Hey hey,calm down it going to be ok,I'm here" I start singing a song (Let's just say Everything stays) "Let's go in the garden,you'll find something waiting,right there where you left it,lying upside-down.When you finally find it,you'll see how its faded,the underside is lighter when you turn it around. Everything stays,right where you left it. Everything stays but it still changes.Ever so slighty. Daily and nightly,in littel ways.When everything stays." I sang to him until he calmed down. "Thank you" he said quietly I said "Your welcome" "I'm sorry you had to see me like this" he said sadly "No it's ok Flippy. At least I'm here for you right?" I said. He said "Yeah you are." He gave me a littel kiss on the cheek. We where cuddling for a while now and Flippy had gone to sleep on my lap. So, I carried him to his bedroom,gave him a kiss on the forehead and said "Goodnight Starlight" and walked out....
