Sibling

"Mum... What's love?" Curiosity peak over the little 9 years old pink girl as she placing her head against the table, eyeing her beautiful mother.

The sudden question from the lovely child stopped her mom's movement. She turned around and faced her child. "Why did you ask?"

"I'm just curious" the little girl giggled when her mother softly rubbed her nose. Her mother, Wawa started to answer the little princess's question,

"Well, Yaya. Love is so wide! There's different kind of love you will experience once you keep walking on your route." Wawa spread her arms as the gesture of wide causing her daughter in awed.

"Route?" Yaya furrowed her eyebrows, in confused of what did her mother mean by that. Wawa chuckled and hugged Yaya, she continue her explanation "the journey you are having as you growing up. Yaya, love can be  for friends, a guy you have feelings for, the society, the nature, the world, every living things in this world."

"Wow!!"

"But you know what's the most important?"

"What's it, mum?"

"The most important is the love for your family. Whatever the situation is, you must be there for your family, protect your family as we each other have our back. Never leave them behind, you have me, your dad and this little one" Wawa gently rest  her palm on her big size belly which carrying an 8 months fetus.

Yaya for a moment felt fluster when she heard her mother's statement, never knew 'love' can have such meaning and responsibilities. She touched her mom's belly and looked directly to her mom's eyes,

"C-can I protect my little brother too?"

"Of course, my dear!"

Yaya's eyelids fluttered open after she had a short nap. A small smile appeared on her face feeling better after she dreamt about the certain memory. How delighted she was when her little brother, Otoi came to the world and she officially became a big sister.

Although all this time she's busy with TAPOPS and barely had chances to contact her family because of exhausted from missions, it will be a lie if she said she's not worrying and not missing her family, especially Otoi.

Even though she tried to reassure herself saying it's okay, her heart still aches to be separated for a long time, leaving them behind.

A knocking sound echoed through the room made Yaya snapped back to the reality. She got up from her bed, remembering the fact she's on Earth right now. Yaya walked to the door as she tied up her hair, a figure of young boy nervously smile to her.

"Kakak! Did I bother you?" He's fidgeting his fingers hoping he didn't actually interrupt her peaceful time.

"No, you didn't. Why?" She let out a softly chuckle to see Otoi hesitating to tell her something. He smiled widely "Kakak, let's go play at outside!"

"Outside? Where?"

"Anywhere! The playground or the beach or or—" Otoi curled his fingers in excitement, he always wanted to spend times with her sister yet she always with her friends.

"Alright, go tell Mum and get ready, I'll be down in 5 minutes"

"hoorayy!!"

Yaya put on her shawl, she was thankful that she no need to change her clothes since it's already in proper.

"Bye, Mum!"

They departed to Kokotiam only to order Ice chocolate for both of them then they continue their walk to fun places that Otoi wanted to go. They held their hands together not wanting to get separated, Yaya can't help but to smile widely seeing her brother happily enjoy her accompany.

They wish this to last forever.

"Akak"

"Hm? Yes, Otoi?"

"I have always want to say this but thank you for everything. I  kinda felt sad that we may be siblings but we didn't get that much time to be together"

"Otoi , I-" Yaya wanted to reassure her little brother but Otoi quickly cut her sentence.

"No Kakak, let me finish. I want you to know no matter how far you go and how long you go , I'll always wait for you. You don't know how much happy I was  when I know you finally come back home. Especially you decided to spend time with your little brother. I love you so much kakak!"

"Woah , Otoi. How can you be so thoughtful? You moved me into tears, I'm sorry I've made you feel lonely" Yaya laughed yet tears spilled out from her eyes, Otoi became panicked and tried to wipe the tears with his untouched handkerchief.

"Silly me, crying in front of you. I love you too, Otoi and I've never forget about my family. Commander said this will be long holidays for us, so you don't need to be worry, I will always here for you." Yaya smiled and lifted Otoi up to carry him, of course he was embarrassed getting carried like this.

But it still didn't take over his feeling of gratefulness, he grinned wide enough to see his small teeth "Thank you" the last words he said before he entered the world of dream.

Otoi stared through his room window while gripping a frame, his face was red of tearing and feeling upset he said,

"Akak, you liar."
