Ross POV
"Your what?" I asked
Laura just told me she's engaged.
"I'm engaged Ross." said Laura
I'm speechless. I can't believe it.
"Um...wow Laura...I...I."
I can barely speak I'm so shocked.
"What Ross?" asked Laura
I finally got some courage to speak now.
"Who are you engaged to?" I asked
"His name is Evan." said Laura
That name sounded familiar.
"Evan who?" I asked
"Evan Collin." said Laura
Evan Collin. Who the heck is that?
"Ok cool Laura I may be speechless but I am so happy for you." I said
I really am not.
"Thanks Ross. So you wanna be the best man? Evan doesn't have any siblings or any good friends so he said I could pick the best man." said Laura
I don't wanna go to her wedding but I should.
"Sure." I said
"Ok great." said Laura
I heard somebody speaking in the background.
"Laura we gotta go." said someone in the background
"Ok mom hold on." said Laura
"Hey I can let you go if you gotta go." I said
"Ok thanks Ross for being so cool about it." said Laura
"No problem." I said
"I will talk to you later about wedding details." said Laura
"Ok bye." I said
We hung up.
I can't believe she is gonna get married.
