4 ■ I couldn't

Look, more angst!

Deku's POV

Another day chasing All for one. Another day of U.A. Another day of her. Another day holding back from her. All her flaws, all her scars, really make her more beautiful. I know she hurts, and I don't feel worthy of her being in my presence.

I get up out of bed, put on my clothes, and walk into the common room. Turns out, everyone else is awake. "What are you worried about?" I say, rubbing my eyes. Uraraka comes from behind up to me and says, "All for One is back."

All of us had set out on teams, and of course Mina put me with Uraraka. Walking, Uraraka sees a certain someone flash by. "He's over there!" She grabbed my arm rather tight, and fled me over to where All for One stood. I was so out of it that day, everything was so... blurry. Like something bad would happen. And, it did.

"Stop right this instant!" She screamed, having confidence in her voice. I power up my quirk, and she got stance ready.

"Uraraka, maybe we should contact the other-"
She turned around with a tear in her eye, and then showed me her flip phone. All for One had sent the dead bodies of our friends to her. Suddenly, he pops up behind Uraraka.

In an instant, I get ready to fight, my predecessors rooting me on even though I wasn't at my best.

"Say bye." He whispers in my ear, and takes Uraraka by the neck. "So sad, she has to go. Such a beauty wasted by a boy." He laughed, knocking her out. All for One holds her in his hands, and stabs through her with one of his quirks, which was deep enough to kill her. "NO! PLEASE!" But he had already dropped her. She fell to the ground before I could save her.

I... couldn't save her. I couldn't save her.

I lay myself onto the ground, where she was laying, eyes almost closed.

"No, no, nononono!" I rest my head on her shoulder, picking her up. "W-we can surely find some way-" She puts her finger on my lips, and whispered, "It'll be okay." She looks at me. "Please don't leave me." Smiling, she says "Leave me. Don't worry."

"I love you..." I cry, and cry. "I love you too." She rests on me, dies on me. I kiss her on the lips, and say goodbye.

"I couldn't save her."

I REALLY need to make something happy and fluffy now. But who knows I'll probably make more angst but I'll try to do something happy lol. Have a good day/night! ♡
