Chapter 2

A/N: I don't know what the orphanage looks like so I'm just taking a guess

It all started when I met her, her beautiful pink eyes and pink hair, you could just see how innocent she is just by looking at her.

It was raining out, the rain aggressively hitting the window from outside. I jump off the tall chair and run down the long hallway, around the corner to the left to see her drawing, I walk up to her and peek over her shoulder to see her drawing of a scenery of palm trees, two wooden houses with a beautiful sparkling lake to the left of the page and a beautiful sun.
"Hey Yuno!" Yuno jumps "You scared me Yuuto" "Oh ah sorry.." I look around the room, the walls were tinted grey with pictures of us children from the orphanage on the walls the windows were covered in little droplets. I step around Yuno to see her finished drawing.

"Oh- you can have it!" Yuno gets up from her knees as she hands me the drawing, she smiles, "really!? Thanks!". I run towards the bedroom where all the kids sleep not waiting for a reply, I step In the room running towards my bed which was at the back. I place the picture under the mattress then I run back to Yuno. She looks back at me, I say thanks once again while giving her a hug, she takes my hand and she runs to an exit just to the left of the room, she takes me outside.

"Look the rain stopped!" Yuno says with a smile as she points to the sky, the clouds are a dark grey as there's just a bit of sunlight showing, the grass is a shamrock green and the air smells fresh. Yuno takes out a book, she looks at me.
"Can you read this for me?" She asks me with a smile, I smile back at her. "Yeah!" I grab the book from her hands and I grab her hand and started walking towards a tree, she sits down on the tall wet grass after I do so, I open the book it smells old, I'm pretty sure she got it from the library. I start reading to her, the book was one of those cliche princess and the prince type of stories.

Later I finish the story, Yuno said a thank you and we both got up and made our way to the door, we walk inside and shut the door. We both walk to the library to put the the book away, while walking to our bed rooms Yuno asked a question.

"Will you be with me, no matter what?"  She looks at me with a worried look on her face, I look back.
"Of course!" I smile "no matter what"  I say patting her head , we walk in the room we see other kids running around and jumping on the beds. I take my shoes off and join the other kids as Yuno stands there awkwardly, as I was just starting to have fun I get called by one of the ladies that take care of us.

"Yuuto!" I turn my head towards the door, I jump off the bed and walked towards Yuno I grabbed her hand  and walked towards the lady standing at the doorway of the orphanage  with a man who's hair is a dark brown, his eyes were an ocean blue and he stood tall with a white buttoned up shirt, dress pants and dress shoes. I walked up to the man while still holding Yuno's hand, the man smiled at me while I held a confused look, the lady spoke.
"This man right here, Yuuto ,is gonna be adopting you and taking you as his son" My eyes widened, my grip on Yuno's hand tighten, Yuno was behind me with a similar expression, the man kneeled down to match my height, he greets me with a calm "Hello".

I look up at the lady and back at the man.

"His name is Ken Sukushima"  she spoke, I stare at him." He's gonna sign some sheets and then in a couple of days he's gonna come and get you, alright?" The lady spoke again, I nod in response. The man wasn't scaring looking nor was he good looking, he looked about in his late 40's.
"I'm Yuuto" I smile as I spoke to Ken, He smiles back and gets up, he walks to a table where a sheet of paper is, I assumed it was an adoption sheet and walked away with Yuno.
"You're leaving me..-"  Yuno spoke and looked down as we entered the bedroom. "Don't worry! I'll meet you again I promise!" I smile and hug her, she hugs me back. I walk to my bed to grab the drawing Yuno made me "ill remember you by this!" I say as I take the drawing out of my mattress and show her it, she smiles at me, my cheeks get warm as I smile back at Yuno.

It's been two days already, I woke up and got dressed Into a light blue dress shirt and dark blue dress shorts that reached just over my knees and blue, gray and white runners. I go into the washroom to see my messy beige hair I look in one of the drawers under the sink to find a dark purple brush I brush my hair and it forms back to my mushroom cut short hair I walk out of the washroom to see Yuno sitting on her bed facing the floor I walk up to her, I tell her that I'm leaving the orphanage she looks up at me and yanks on my shirt and pulls me into a hug.

"I'm gonna miss you" Yuno starts to tear up a little her cheeks becoming red, " I know I'm gonna miss you too Yuno" I get out of her grip and walk out of the bed room to see Ken standing at the door waiting for me, I walk up to him giving him a look that tells him 'I'm ready to go meet my new family'!. He takes my hand and I wave a goodbye to the kids and adult behind me. We walked out, there at the side of the road there was a vintage garnet red car, that's all it was, it was plain. I stare at it for a bit the suns reflection blinds me, it was sunny there were no clouds the streets were quite busy. Ken puts his hand out or should I call him dad? I'm not sure.

"Come on in." His hand directed me to the back seat in the car, it was clean a little too clean. I clime into the back seat like I was directed to do a sat down, it's hot in the car not too hot though, it felt nice actually only for a little while though.

We eventually made it there the drive wasn't long. I jump out of the car, I start to stretch I walk up to the house,the door was a light brown the outside of the house was a beige with light brown roof there was a part of the house sticking out from the left, windows on all sides it was a nice house.
"I have clothes for you, I hope they're the right size" Ken? Dad? Speaks as he puts his hand on my shoulder.

"Thanks Ken-" he cuts me off "you can call me Dad" I smile at him and nod, we walk into the house together it was just an average house, a staircase as soon as you open the door to the left there was a door way that led to the kitchen and to the right there was a door way that led to a room, we take our shoes off and Dad leads me up stairs, I'm guessing Thats where my room is, we turn a left, there it is my room it was small but not too small there was a big window on the left side of the room, a closet on the right side and a white sheeted bed just in the middle of the room with a set of P.J's on the side facing the closet.

"I left a set of clothes on the bed, you can change into those I'll go get dinner ready ok?" I nod in response.

dad makes his way to the stairs, I walk into the room and close the door, I get dressed into the P.J's dad provided me, they were warm and just the perfect size the baby blue button up P.J shirt reaching my hips and my matching P.J pants reaching my ankles. I sit on the side of the bed facing the window it was beautiful outside there was a nice sunset the orange-yellow colour filling my room, my eyes feel heavy after looking outside for a bit I laid back on my bed looking at the fan on the ceiling spinning I can feel the cold air on my face as my hair moves off my face due to the pressure, my eyes felt heavier and I soon fell into a deep sleep.
