Before We Begin(A/N)

Hello. If you have somehow stumbled upon this book and are giving it the time of day, I thank you very much. This is the first time I have written anything in a VERY long time, so I do apologize if this is not up to anyone's standards. This is mostly more for me to get better at writing, as well as practice writing darker subjects as I do find myself reading more of that. That, and there is an extreme lack of Male reader stories out there compared to the vast sea of female readers. Though I will attempt to create some stories that are gender-fluid so anyone can enjoy.

With that being said, I want to talk a bit about this book before you indulge yourself in my crappy writing. As I stated above, this book is my way of improving my writing skills. And one way to help is with constructive criticism. If you have any advice you believe could help me better myself as an author, then please, don't be afraid to tell me! You can send me a message or leave it in the comments, I don't mind which. Don't worry about hurting my feelings, I'd feel more hurt if I didn't get the help I need rather than a few words telling me my writing is shit. 

Also! You're more than welcome to point out grammatical errors as well! I'd like it if my readers could enjoy my work without being confused because of an error that could ruin the mood. And also let me know if you've read my work anywhere else but here. I'm thinking of creating a Quotev account to post these stories there as well but if I do end up doing that I will create a link to it in this book to let everyone know it was me. I do not want my work published anywhere without my permission.

Aside from that, updates will most likely be very slow. And will be even more slow once I am back to work(I am currently under a stay-at-home order in my state). Aside from that, I am an extremely slow writer, and I don't want to rush stories for the sake of pumping out content. Because of this, I would kindly encourage you to not post comments telling me to update or to hurry up. It won't make the process faster. You can, in fact, request story ideas if you wish, as most of my time is spent trying to come up with ideas to write about. I'll gladly give you credit for the idea but please note, THIS DOES NOT MEAN I WILL ALWAYS WRITE IT. I don't wish to call it requests for that part alone, because I know every idea I'll get doesn't mean I'll have the interest in writing it. 

Any names used in this book are ones that I come up with, and I will not write about characters from any media. I will only be using characters I create. If any of the names I use pertain to you, you are more than welcome to change the names so you can enjoy the stories. 

And lastly, I would appreciate it if everyone avoids using the terms, 'yaoi, seme, and uke' when referring to the stories in this book. I feel very uncomfortable using those terms, as those terms have been used many times by people who fetishize homosexuality. I don't mind if your a girl and wish to read this, I ask of you to please be respectful. And don't be upset if I make the reader a 'top' when you wanted them to be a 'bottom' or vice versa. I'll be trying to keep it as vague as possible, or at least have it where the yandere and reader are switches so everyone can enjoy. But I won't be writing very many smut scenes so it shouldn't be too much of a problem, I hope. 

Other than that, I do hope you can find some form of enjoyment in this series of small stories. I do apologize on the horrid book cover, I used the built in book cover creator to make it and it really doesn't do that wonderful artwork any justice. If anyone knows who created the artwork I use(d) in both the cover and for any of the stories please tell me so I can give proper credit. I will also take the artwork down if your the artist and wish not to have it used.
