PL: CHAPTER TWO

"Happy 5th anniversary, my love~~~" Yibo said, jumping on their shared bed.

Xiao zhan groaned and continued to sleep. He lay beside xiao zhan and hugged him tight.

"Zhan-geeee happy 5th anniversary," he whispered-yelled in xiao zhan's ear.

"Happy anniversary," xiao zhan replied, still closing his eyes.

He kissed zhan's forehead and continued to cling to him.

"I love you," zhan whispered, enough for yibo to hear.

A long silence suddenly ate them up, making xiao zhan's eyes open up in curiosity of why yibo suddenly went silent. He found yibo staring at him with mixed emotion.

"Bo-di, gege ai ni," he repeated, thinking yibo didn't hear what he said. Yibo smiled at him.

"I love you so much," Zhan said, looking directly on yibo's eyes.

"Me too,"

Xiao zhan smiled when he heard yibo, but then his smile dropped and said------

"Lie"

Yibo frowned at xiao zhan.

"I know, yibo. I know you want to tell me something that you can't tell." Zhan started. He distanced himself to yibo and sat on the bed.

"Your eyes can't lie, yibo. They didn't look at me the way they did last five years ago. How your lips still felt warm when they touched on mine, but when you kissed me, it suddenly turned cold."

Xiao zhan said when he remembered when yibo kissed his forehead.

"Your heart still beats so fast like they used to do, but I know I'm not already the reason why they beat so fast. I felt it when you hugged me."

"You still hold me tight, but I know you're ready to let me go." Xiao zhan smiled sweetly at him, looking at his eyes. Yibo looked away when their eyes met.

"Why yibo? Did she love you more than how I love you?"

"I'm sorry," yibo sadly replied. Sitting up on the bed, beside Xiao Zhan.

Xiao zhan looked at him and smiled, then gave him a nod. Yibo stood up, exiting to their shared room and now unpaking his things to be with his new girl.
