The adventure of Anti

The mission

I walked into Darks office after getting an email from him over a mission. I closed the doors behind me as I walked up to his desk. "Hello Anti" he said as he looked through some paperwork. "Hello" I replied as I sat in the chair in front of the desk. He handed me a file filled with paperwork over a random asylum.

I started reading through the papers and noticed a lot of missing people reports. "Other vases have sent in there men and non have returned. There is obvious paranormal activity so we can't really send anyone else since this is dark magic." Dark explained. "So you want me to go?" I asked as I continued looking through the papers. "Yes and no" he said. "What does that mean?" I asked. "It's obvious that most investigators are getting trapped in this area. I want you to go around the building and look for possible entrances. After that, call me and I will tell you what to do then. I don't want to lose you to the same fate as the other investigators do we are not sending you inside of the building." Dark explained. "Ok" I said in understanding as I stood up from the seat.

"Your bike will be ready to go tomorrow morning. You are scheduled to leave around eight in the morning" he said as we shook hands and I left the office and headed to my room.

I sat the file onto the nightstand beside my bed. I grab my bag and fill it with some food and a few water bottles. I then slid the file into it as well and left it on the couch in my room.

There was a knock on my door that caught my attention as I told the person to come in. Jack walked in and slowly closed the door behind him. "I heard you have a new mission to the asylum" he said as he walked closer to me. I nodded my head and said yeah. "You know you don't have to go" he said. His eyes were glossy and worry laced his voice. "I'll be fine, I'm just doing a perimeter check." I said as he gave me a hug. I hugged him back and seated my body a little to get him relaxed.

He finally did after a little while and we sat down on my bed. "You can stay in here if you want to" I said as I rubbed his hand. We were enemies for a really long time but a mission brought us closer together. He is like my older brother now. "I'll be fine. I just don't want you to get hurt" Jack said. "I'm not going to be in to much danger" I reassured.

Eventually Jack calmed down and I walked with him to his room before going back to mine. I laid down on my bed and stared at the ceiling. Should I do this? I'm not going inside so I should be safe, right? I eventually rolled over onto my side and slowly went into a deep slumber.
