After their close encounter with disaster admiral Voss quickly regrouped his forces and made a beeline for German controlled waters. However the abyssal princess was hot on their heels and by 13:00 hours she had caught up, realizing the situation, the Germans turn and face the threat.

At approximately 15:30 hours the two fleets meet at would later be called the Battle of Scotland, in would go down in history as the largest naval battle near the Scottish coast and even wreckage from the ships was even found on the shore.

The princess confident in her victory organized her forces, after the final confirmations the abyssals approach the Germans in battle formation, to her immediate front her battleships were arrayed in a long battle column on their flanks were the remaining undamaged cruisers. Screening the fleet were 20 destroyers providing cover against enemy destroyers, more destroyers were placed behind the battle line, finally the princess herself along with the torpedo boats were placed in reserve. Unfortunately the princess hit a snag her forces were depleted as her aircraft carriers were redirected, the US navy engaged abyssal forces off the coast of France, due to the casualties suffered in the initial engagement and the fact the abyssal forces were outnumbered, the abyssal leadership ordered her carriers to head off to support, because of this not only she lost her aircraft carriers but she also had send more of her small vessels as escorts to protect them as enemy submarines are an ever present threat.

After the carriers departed along with their escorts she also sent off her damaged ships, mainly due to the fact she  still out numbered her enemy and also many of her allies were the children of other princess's and they would not be happy if their children were killed. After all was said and she lost 2 aircraft carriers with them were 2 battleships, 4 heavy cruisers, 2 light cruisers, and 40 destroyers mainly for protection from enemy subs. Soon after 4 heavy cruisers, 3 light cruisers, were sent off after suffering damage from the earlier skirmish. In total the abyssal fleet numbered 153 ships total.

Opposing them were the forces of the Kriegsmarine, lead by German Admiral Warren Voss. The German admiral set a course for the north sea, the smaller force after escaping the princess quickly moved along the coast of Ireland and Scotland, simultaneously he sent radio messages informing the naval high command of the situation unfortunately he received word, no surface units were available at the moment, Undaunted he informed command he'll fight to the last shell. After hours of running the Germans managed to just reach the north sea just as the enemy caught up. Unable to run and with support not coming the Admiral knew he was in a bad situation but made the best of the situation.

He ordered the ships under his command to prepare for battle as they began the laborious process of reforming themselves into a battle line. Soon he received radio messages from German submarines, apparently all the enemy activity was picked up by submarines who were patrolling the area and they informed the admiral of important information. It seems the enemy fleet split it's forces, a large number of ships were now headed to France while the rest are currently on route to his position. Some time after he also received more information another small detachment of ships also left the main fleet, based on the what little the submarine personification was able to see, these ships looked damaged though she was unable to confirm due to fog. The German admiral asked if it was possible to determine the number of enemy vessels and was informed the enemy fleet could possibly be anywhere from 100-150 ships strong.

Now that he knew what he was up against he set his plan into motion, He placed his forces between two small island in the north of Scotland just off the coast. His center made up of battleships Berlin, Hutton, Berlichingen immediately flanking them were the destroyers spaced out in order to provide a measure of maneuverability and on the ends were the light cruisers. To the right of the main line were the heavy cruisers and the last battleship Kaiser, as the enemy fleet approached their position they redeployed in order to attack the enemy.
