1) fun fact: we can only dream about things that we already know. this means that the people and items that appear in our dreams have to be known to us.
2) 95% of dreams that humans have are forgotten shortly after waking up. this is the reason why you may wake up and feel like you didn't dream anything.
3) there are some people who claim to only dream in black and white. if this is true, then only 80% of dreams we experience are in colour.
4) there is a type of dream that, in it, you will know that you're dreaming and you will be able to control your actions. this type of dream is called a lucid dream, and if you look into it enough, you can find some techniques that will allow you to experience these more often.
5) despite what some people believe, blind people can dream. their dreams rely heavily upon other senses, though, such as touch, taste and sound.

8) you cannot read inside a dream. the reason for this is because reading and dreaming use completely different functions in your brain, and they can't be used at the same time.
9) dreams actually have the ability to reveal feelings that you've hidden or repressed.
