"Y/n, we've gotta go," my childhood friend, Niall, tells me. I'm going on tour with him and his band for a few weeks. "Just one more minute," I say, grabbing more clothes and stuffing them in my suitcase. "Why didn't you pack before?" he asks me. "I was busy." Niall rolls his eyes at that. "Busy with what?" he asks, "you started your summer break 2 weeks ago and have been texting me about how bored you are ever since." "Yeah, I was busy being bored, duh," I say, and we both start laughing. And then we can't stop laughing. For 15 minutes. Straight. We only manage to stop when my mum comes to my room to see what's going on, and tells us we need to hurry or we'll be late. "Here y/n," she says, "take some money and buy whatever you're missing when you get there. And have fun! I'll miss you!" "Thanks! I'll miss you too, Mum." I stuff the money in my pocket and give my mum a hug before walking out with Niall. "Cmon," he says, grabbing my hand and taking me to the car. We arrive at the boys' hotel an hour later and go upstairs to their room. "Liam, Louis, Harry, Zayn," Niall calls, "y/n is here!" All 4 of them come running. "Hi y/n!" Louis shouts, "I'm Louis!" "She knows who you guys are," Niall says, rolling his eyes. "We don't know much about you, y/n," Liam says, "tell us about yourself." "Um... well I like writing poems, I like swimming, I hate anyone who mistreats animals... I'm not sure what to say really. I like chocolate..." Niall cuts me off with a laugh. "Funny how she writes amazing poems, but can't even talk about herself," he tells them. "Can I see your poems?" Harry asks me. "I guess," I say. Then I look at my watch. "Actually, it's getting late," I tell him, "I think I'm gonna go to sleep now." Niall walks me to where I'll be sleeping for the night. "Y/n, we leave tomorrow at 6:00. Make sure you're ready on time," he says, "excited?" "Yeah, I am," I reply. "Just remember one thing as we travel around the world," Niall says. "Yes?" I ask. "Don't forget where you belong... home."
