I Am Tougher Than You Think

chapter 1

"Enough!" I say ,almost scream "We are not trying on any more outfits I know its your first date and stuff but dont be so formal you will make her uncomfortable now put this on ....... and these pants .....and theses shoes will be perfect" I say to my brother ,actually stepbrother "Dude I didnt know you had fashion sense" Kevin added jokingly "Better than yours atleast" I add crossing my hands over my chest . "Now will you get out I have to change even though I think you do not mind staying here ...it will make me uncomfortable " Kevin says gestureing to the door"

My mom and dad divorced 3 years ago when i was just 11 and I choose to stay with my Dad and I must add that it was a great decision.

After half an year my dad met Danielle ,Kevin mom . It was love at first sight as I like to call it but we all know it was for me .

Kevin and I didnt know each other in the past even though we went to the same school.

Dad and Danielle married last year and we became a small happy family. Even though Kevin and I dont fight much their are still complications on sharing a room .

" How do I look?" kevin asks "umm...cool... But u gotta drop that hoodie and take this one "I say giving him another purple hoodie he quickly changes into it and says goodbye . Sabrina is Kev's date and personally I dont like her.

I start the season of '13 Reasons Why' on netflix as soon as he is out.

"How was it?" I ask as I hear the front door slamming Kev enters the living room looking like a mess but he jas that excitement on his face he bends down and pulls me into 'the bear hug' "Damn sis It was too great . By the way why isnt mom home yet " kev says searching for mom " oops i forgot mom amd daad have a night shift so its just you and me" .
"Imma gonna freshen up . I cant wait for tomorrow " kev says almost acting like a girl who just got proposed " Kay I will order some Pizza . My treat " i say while looking for my favourite .

As the pizza arrives kev starts laying alk the details of the date and to be honest i wasnt listening until the topic of her entering our group comes up " Noooooo she is not fucking joining us " I manage to choke out the words . At school we have a little group more like a gang where we stay like a family and her entering the group is not gonna happen .
"woooah ,vocabulary sis chill out man"kevin says in a calming tone.Which kind of worked i chilled out.

I wake up to hear something falling and I almost scream when I see kevin in his shorts running to shut the tap of water off. Its almost 7:30 and I rush into the bathroom.

I quickly brush my teeth and run out of the bathroom nearly tripping over a tennis raquet .I lock my door and slip on one of kevs aqua blue hoodies and my black shorts . I tie my hair into a sloppy bun and slip on my high tops .

I have too less time to care about my looks today .

So this is the first chapter and I am new to writing and stuff please tell me if it is crap I will try to make myself better . Thanks for reading please support me . And please tell me if i am doing anything wrong .
