Chapter 4

Staphanie's POV

--NEXT MORNING--

" Na Eurerong Eurerong Eurerong de! Na mosul ji ane myeon , tiki molla!" Aish,I have to wake up for school -.- Nevermind, I will just sleep for five minutes more. I woke up a while later and check the clock.

"WHAT?! IT'S ALREADY 7.30?!" I said out loud. I totally forgot I was to walk to school with Kai today. I brush my teeth , change into a fresh set of clothes and quickly comb my hair and went out. I was about to run when someone beside me talk.

"Aish, did u overslept? Did u forgot that u were to walk to school with me today?" The voice sound a bit angry.

"Oh,I'm so sorry Kai! I was tired and decided to sleep 5 minutes more but I did not expect it be be 7.30 now!!" I said while catching my breath.

"Nevermind,let's head to school. Come on,hop on my bike!" Kai said. I hop onto Kai's bike and hold onto the back of the bike.

"Pabo,put your hand on my waist. Do u want to fall by holding onto the back of the bike?" Kai said while laughing. I was shy at first but decided to put my hand on his waist anyway. We reach school and was late by half and hour.

"Kai and Staphanie! You guys are late by half and hour! You have to stay for a one hour detention after school!" The teacher said angrily. Me and Kai exchange a sad look with each other and we went back to our seat.

"Did you and Kai went on a date before coming here or what?" Xiumin said while smirking.

"What? No! We promise to walk to school together but I overslept. But I didn't knew that he would have waited for me..." I said to Xiumin. Why did Kai wait for me when he knew he was going to be late? What does this mean...?

Kai's POV

I waited for her even though I knew I was going to be late. I didn't know why..but I guess it is really love at first sight....

"Ring...ring...ring..." The school bell ring,indicating it was time for our break. I wanted to ask Staphanie to eat lunch with me,but it seem as though she have went off with...who's that? Suho. Wait..WHAT?! What is she doing with Suho? Aish whatever. I don't care.. But I knew deep inside I care like hell.

--FAST FORWARD--

Finally school have ended... But I still have detention with Staphanie...

"Hey let's go detention together." I said to Staphanie coldly. I was angry at her for hanging out with Suho earlier on. We walk to the detention room without talking and it was really awkward.

Staphanie's POV

We were walking to the detention room without talking. Why is he so cold to me? What did I do wrong? We reach the detention room and the teacher was waiting for the both of us there already.

"I want the both of u to write down the reason for being late, I am going to go for half and hour and by the time I'm back, I expect the both of u to be done. Is that clear?" The teacher said while looking at the both of us.

"Yes teacher." Me and Kai said in unison. It was 15 minutes and me and Kai hasn't said a word to each other. I decided to take the first step and break the ice between us.

"Urm Kai....may I know why are u so cold to me all of a sudden?" I ask him.

"I'm cold to u because u were hanging out with Suho hyung just now during break time." Kai said to me.

"Hahahahah. Are you jealous ?" I said while laughing at him.

"So what if I am?! It's all because....I...I...lik...." He couldn't finish his sentence and the teacher have walked in.
