Dance practice was off to a pretty good start. I mean, no one had messed up in a major way. The only mistakes were minimal and could be fixed on the spot. This was an amazing thing for us since we have fourteen people trying to be in sync at the same time. That's a good amount of people and it is easier to make mistakes that way.
"Come on guys! Keep up the good work!"
Seungcheol cheered us on from the front of the room with sweat dripping down his forehead as he smiled widely. With a few groans and a few agreements we all decided to take a small break and get some water. I was laying on the floor with my eyes closed when I heard footsteps coming up next to me.
"What's up with Jason?" I tried not to smile at Seungcheol's concerned voice.
"I don't know." Mingyu stated this bluntly like he was bored but I could almost feel the playful glare that he was sending towards the leader.
"Is he asleep?"
I decided to speak up for myself this time.
"No. I'm preparing for death."
When I opened my eyes Mingyu was laughing at a wide eyed S.Coups. and the rest seemed somewhat interested in what we were doing.
"You weren't asleep?!"
I smiled with a laugh as I shook my head.
"Nope. Just resting my body a little."
He sighed with a small grin and ruffled my hair before helping me stand up.
"C'mon. We still have a lot of practice to do."

Practice continued for a few more hours until we all broke into our sub units.
I headed off with the performance unit. We continued to work on some choreo and the last hour or so was practicing our vocals and rap.
Soon everyone was finished and I got a call from my sister. Minghao looked back at me with a strange expression.
"You coming?"
I smiled and pointed to my phone.
"I have to take this. Go ahead and go home. I'll walk."
He raised an eyebrow at my actions and I just waved him off. When the door to our practice room closed I answered the call.
"Hello."
"Hey baby bro. I need you to do me a favor if you're not busy tomorrow."
"Go on. Tomorrow is a free day so whatever it is I'm sure i can manage."
"So Daehyung and I are visiting his parents in Daegu tomorrow and we have to leave early in the morning. I was wondering if you could take the kids sometime tonight and then we will pick them up around 5 pm tomorrow when we get back. They just don't like long drives or getting up early. Is that okay??"
I smiled to myself a little.
"Yes. That's perfectly fine. I just finished practice so I can come get them now. Just make sure they're ready."
I heard her laugh on the other line.
"Sometimes I think you are the older one, Jae."
I smiled a wide smile and laughed a little.
"I hope that was a compliment, Hani."
"Of course it was. The kids are packing an over night bag already. They'll be ready by the time you get here."
"Good. Last time I came over they weren't even dressed."
"Hahaha. Now hurry up. They keep asking how long you'll take."
"Okay okay. I'm on my way now. Bye Hani."
"Bye."
I hung up the call and walked out of the Pledis building before heading over to my sister's place. It wasn't very far from the Entertainment building. Only a few streets away. On the way there I texted Seungcheol and told him to quickly clean the house.
"JaeJae!!!!"
I looked up from my phone and put it in my pocket as I saw my niece Eunji. She had a wide smile and came running over to me. I picked her up and hugged her to my chest while spinning her around.
"Eunji!!!!!!!!! I missed you so so much!"
She giggled and hugged me back. When I placed her on my hip I saw the two boys. Hyunwoo, the five year old, came over and wrapped his arms around my leg.
"Uncle JaeJae! We missed you too!"
I laughed and looked over at the oldest, Minseok who was smiling at the two younger siblings. He met my gaze and smiled wider.
"Nice to see you again Uncle JaeJae."
I saw my sister come up next and she hugged me tightly.
"Thank you so much for doing this. Honestly we could've taken Minseok with us but we all know he wouldn't miss this time with you. I hope your members are okay with this. They haven't met the kids yet though, have they? I mean we could always-"
I put a hand up.
"Hansoo shut up. You are worried for nothing. The memebers hear me talk about them all the time and I already asked the leader if it was okay along with the manager. We will be fine. Go have fun."
She smiled and hugged me again.
"See. I told you. You act older than you are sometimes."
I laughed and had the kids say goodbye to her before we all left and walked the short distance to the Pledis car I had asked to meet me here. I helped them put all of their stuff in the car and we drove for a few minutes before stopping in front of my dorms. They all seemed excited and I smiled at the two younger ones as they both wore big smiles. Minseok had a grin on as well. We got out and I carried Eunji on my hip again with her over night bag over my opposite shoulder while holding Hyunwoo's hand. Minseok walked beside Hyunwoo holding his other hand. Once we entered I saw that Seungcheol had done a fine job cleaning everything. Then I saw Seungcheol as he popped up in front of us.
"So these are the lucky kids who get to come to one of Seventeen's famous sleepovers!"
The two youngest smiled and giggled at his silliness. Minseok seemed to tense up a bit and I grabbed his hand gently while squeezing it. He smiled once again and bowed at Seungcheol.
"Hello. My name is Minseok. It is nice to meet you. The other boy there is Hyunwoo and the little girl is Eunji."
He smiled at Minseok and nodded.
"All those names perfectly fit each of you. Now lets go. You guys can put your bags over against that wall."
They each did as they were told and soon everyone was in the living room and in their pjs. A big pillow and blanket fort had been made while I was gone and the two younger were seated in the middle of it with a bottle in Eunji's hand and a cookie in Hyunwoo's. Minseok stayed close to me most of the time which I didn't mind at all. I enjoyed spending time with him. And so did all of Seventeen too. When we put down the two youngest ones for bed, I let Minseok stay with us while we chatted in the living room under the fort. Vernon looked over at Minseok.
"So what do you like to do? Like hobby wise."
Minseok fidgeted with his hands as he thought of how to answer. I placed a hand on his and smiled. He smiled back and began to speak.
"I dance and I sing. You guys inspire me a lot. Especially my style."
They all smiled at this. Hoshi being very excited.
"Well we will make sure you get to dance tomorrow while you're with us."
Minseok smiled widely and I touched his shoulder gently.
"Yeah. We'll even dance with you."
With happy memories everyone went off to bed and waited for morning to come.
