begining

Hello I am Steve I'm your average normal citizen, or I was anyway I woke up in a strange place with nothing but my clothes a backpack and some mapping paper and pencils, anyway enough about me, as for this new place I'm in it seems about the same as where a was but I can't see any cities or towns off in the distance just plains and forests I can see a mountain too maybe I should head for that I might be able to figure out where I am if I get to higher ground, while walking I didn't run into anyone just some cows, sheep, and pigs, I also saw a wolf though luckily I don't believe he noticed me, by the time I made it to the base of the mountain it was starting to get dark so I collected some wood and sticks and I went into a nearby cave and made a fire I slept there for the night, I awoke the next morning feeling hungry, I walked out of the cave and what I saw I just couldn't believe, giant spiders, zombies, skeletons, and some horrid deformed creaturevI carefully moved across the wall out of the cave avoiding all the monsters and started climbing the mountain when I heard something running up to me I turned around and saw one of the deformed creatures right there making a sizzling noise I jumped away and the creature exploded it's face seemed that of someone in pain as it blew, maybe it was hurting?. I went back to climbing after that it didn't take me long to make it to the top just to see that nothing around looked fimiler at all, I'm lost I have no idea where I am, I don't see any cities or roads around, I fell to my knees in defeat and once again felt the hunger of missing a day of food, I looked over and saw a pig, I'm sorry little guy I thought as I picked up a sharp rock and walked twords it, a tear fell from my eye as I beat the pig to death but he understood, it was me or him and I was stronger, after I ate I moved on walking towards the lake
