WARNING!!! THIS BOOK WAS WRITTEN SUMMER OF '12 AND I WAS YOUNG. I'VE BEEN TRYING TO EDIT IT AND I HOPE YOU LIKE IT!

"Are you up yet, fat ass?!"

Groans escape my sleepy mouth.

"Penny, are you getting ready? It's an hour before we need to leave!" My best friend Abigail calls out.

An hour?!

"I'm getting ready Abs, don't worry!"

Faster than a cheetah on drugs, I throw on skinny jeans and a blue flouncy top. I honestly have no idea how well I slathered on my makeup, but I'm hoping it's okay. I hope I didn't use eye shadow for blush like that one time I was soda drunk....

"Penelope Fallon Young! Get cho ass DOWN here! It's time to GO!!!"

I grab my white handbag and dash down the stairs to see an impatient Abby waiting for me. She wears a crown braid around her head and a cotton white sundress with black heels. A strand of her brown hair falls out of the crown and dangles over her left eye. I feel like a ginger oompa loompa next to her.

"You look stunning." I say.

"You look..... good." Abigail says back with a smirk on her face.

"Hurtful. Come on, we'll be late."

I run out the door into the cracked driveway to find Abby's small and old white car. We left the doors unlocked and I hopped right into the passenger seat. Abby comes up behind me and opens up the driver's side of the car.

"One Direction, here we come!" she screams out the window.

"Shut up you nerd!" I holler with laughs.

Before I knew it, we were getting out of the car to see the best boy band in the world. There was lots of girls crying out and balling but there also were a lot aiming to impress the guys with short shorts and a tube top. Some of them shouldn't even be wearing it. If they want to get someone's attention, it isn't under dressing that is going to work. As we make our way through the crowd and onto the end of the giant line, I peer above taller people's heads' to see them. Niall was on the far left where the line began and he was frantically signing away at someone's merchandise they shoved in his face. Next to Niall was Liam and he was trying to calm a hysterical little girl. After that there was Zayn casually drawing on the tablecloth while waiting for the little girl to calm down to get his turn to sign. Louis was next and talking to Harry with a girl around my age who showed a bit too much skin for anyone's liking.

"Penny, move up."

I walked a little step forward and waited. And waited. And waited. And waited. Then I watched Abby get her paper signed by Niall, waiting about 4 years.

It was my turn to go up now.

I walked confidently up to Niall and flashed a big, toothy grin. He smiled back.

"Hi! What's your name?" his Irish voice yelled into my ears, over the crowd.

I look into his blue eyes.

"Well my name's Penelope but everyone calls me Penny! Uh, can you sign this?" I say, holding up a blank piece of computer paper.

He takes the paper and quickly scribbles his name in green sharpie onto the page. He hands it back to me carefully and tells me to move along.

"Thank you!"

"No problem, Penny."

I quickly go to the next boy, Liam.

"Hi! Who do you want me to make this out to? Oh, Niall wrote your name, never mind."

I timidly stand while he writes his initials and writes a small sentence in a purple sharpie. After about 30 seconds of waiting, he gives it back, bidding his goodbye. Next is Zayn.
