Star Wars : Storm of the trooper

Chapter 1

A plasma blast streaks from left to right overhead in the fighter infested skies of Jakku barely missing an AT-ST and finding its end into one of the imperial squadrons, wails and screams can be heard from the direction of the blast followed by blaster shots ahead one coming straight on target who has no time to move befo... *Eyes snap open* Sharim is shaking with his heart pounding and in a cold sweat, looking around trying to get his bearings, after a couple seconds he regains recollection and says under his breath "After all these years you'd think they'd stop ay". He then let's out a little chuckle probably trying to find some comfort from the horrific echoes of the past that still haunt him every night. The glare of the rising sun traverses through the crack in the makeshift home where it strikes the eyes of the unknowing Sharim making him squint to shut out the gleam of a new day but in doing so allows the gloom of his past to slip back in.
"h..h.help" Sharim barley utters as other troopers pass over him as if he was just another grain of sand on that forsaken mound, Sharim somehow finds the air again to ask for help before blacking out.
Sharim opens his eyes to the physical world catching a glimpse of beauty from the rising sun without it trying to forcefully enter like it had moments ago. "Never gets old" Sharim thinks while giving a smile to his glowing friend that has greeted him every morning for the past 45 years of his life. Sharim finally gets up after admiring his friend and is ready to carry out his daily routine of survival once again consisting of the necessity's of life food and water. Sharim starts up his speeder ready to scavenge when he sees what he can make out to be a traveller off into the distance, he contemplates going over asking why they are out this far but he's also had a fair share of bandits it isn't until the traveller shouts out, what he said could not be put into words as he is to far away but Sharim did hear what sounded like a person needing help and since Sharim knows what it feels like to be abandoned whilst asking for assistance is when he decides to investigate........
