Chapter 3

Vera's POV

"Vera do you have to go Soo soon,"Kyle said batting his eyes in a puppy like manner. "Kyle I can't stay I. . ."my phone started to buzz before I could finish my sentence.

"Where are you Vera you need to get home right now". "Okay I'll be there in an hour,"I said then hanging up the phone as soon as I said it.

"Kyle I'm sorry but I have to go it's my mom I'll see you tomorrow okay."

"Okay, don't forget we have a project to do tomorrow so we have to meet at one of our houses okay." He said waving me goodbye,

"Okay see ya".

I got into my car and then drove off through the school Gates. I hate having to pretend to be Kyle's best friend but I have to, to reach my goal. I won't rest until his pack is exterminated Along with him and his fuck-boy brother.

I got to my house about an hour later. "Hey Kaylee," I said jumping out my car and heading to the door where my foster mother stood.

"Your mom called she says she needs to see you it's urgent," she said handing me the home phone. "Hey Mom what's up," I answered when Kayleegave me the phone, "It's about the thing we talked about Sunday it's ready come over asap," she said with excitement in her voice, "I'll be there in 10 minutes," I said then hanging up the phone and giving it to Kaylee.

"What did she say," Kaylee asked folding her harms. "She wants to talk to me about my dad apparently she thinks it's time I know about him,"I said while rolling my eyes. "Well make sure you are back before 11 okay?"

"Don't worry I'm not planning to stay late there," I said while hoping into my car again and drove off to the enchantress's dark forest.

Kaylee thinks the enchantress is my mother but she isn't, she just said she was my mother so we could keep in contact with each other. About an hour later I pulled up to the entrance to the dark forest that was hidden in the wolf pack's own forest, talk about hiding in plain sight even though they couldn't find it if they wanted to.

The forest was spelled by the enchantress to keep the pack out, only way to get in is if they had a witch who can de-spell the entrance. I arrived at the enchantress's little cottage in the dark forest. I swung the door open revealing the entrance at work on a dark Amber which she has been working on for centuries to destroy the wolf pack. It had only been missing one key element the blood of an alfa's son. "Hello my dark young princess,"she said with a grin on her face. "Where is it?"I said folding my arms to my chest.  "Patience young enchantress-"

"do you think I have patience or mercy for any who crosses me. I have spent the last 16 years trying to be Kyle's friend to get my vengeance for my m patience,"I said. "Bere in mind that you're not the only one seeking vengeance here Vera. I have my own reasons for wanting there pak dead too," she said holding up an amulet in  her hand.
"But you don't have to be patient anymore my dear. Acante-baco-decoo,"she chanted then the amulet glowed blood red. "is this the canima summoning amulet," I was stunned just looking at it. The amulet gave off a very dark but powerful energy, non that I've ever seen before. In a way I felt like I shouldn't have been involved in this hole thing but I would do anything to get vengeance on those filthy animals that murdered my mother.

"It is my dear and now that the spell is complete it can now summon the canima, but. . .I'm afraid that it can only summon one canima," she said

"your joking right, tell me that you're fucking joking. How can I capture Kyle with just one canima,"I felt my blood boiling just thinking how the enchantress thinks that one canima can defeat Kyle and kale. "I can't believe you think that one canima is enough have you fucking seen their strength,"
