"AILANA!! KOHONI!! WAKE UP YOUR STARTING A NEW SCHOOL TODAY" oliva screams from down stairs. She wakes up and yawns "CRAP! im going to be late". She jumps up and grabs a pair of jeans and a grey hoodie, washes her face and puts her hair in a pony tail.
"aw laylay i remember when you were just a baby in my arms" olivia kisses her forhead
"thanks mom but i have to go bye"
"what about your breakfa-" she says
Ailana races to the bus stop hoping she would make it in time to catch the bus and meet up with her two best friends Mykaela and Tiana "Tiana! wait" she hurries and sits next to her friend Tiana who has her nose glued in a book."have you heard from Myka yet?" she asks "no but she says she will be back after she comes back from hawiia". "Oh ok, how have you been I know you trying to get into Fratal College any exciting news?" "Frontal college, and yes the director reached out and said he would like to speak to me next week I'm so freaking excited what about you? " I haven't really looked at any colleges yet but don't freak out there's just so many colleges here in New York". "You better pick one soon Lay there's not a lot of time left in this school year its not like your going to be a queen of some kinda place and not need to even go" haha yeah I wish". Just then the bus arrived at Lukes High were they go to school. "bye Lay I have calculus for first period." "ok bye girl see ya".
"Lana!" someone screams, and before she turned around she was struck by the force of another body flung towards her. "everything was black I couldn't move all I could hear was drowned out voices and screams is...this...what...death...feels...like?". Just then I felt a weight lifted off of me oh I can breathe now, as I take deep breaths I feel a sharp pain in my chest. I try to open my eyes but all I can make out is blurred people, then it was like light faded out of my sight. I woke up in a hospital with my brother sleeping in the chair next to my bed. I move around a little and my brother wakes up. "hey how do you feel" he says with a worried expression "I feel fine my stomach is a bit sore where's mom?" "she is out buying tickets" "for a plane..." "Ko what is going on TELL ME RIGHT NOW!" I say and sit up abruptly. "AILANA don't raise your voice at me I'm trying my best keep you calm and as your big brother I have a lot of things to worry about, its not only about you and how you feel" with that he stormed off and slammed the door. "I don't know what that was about" she mumbled under her breathe.
---------3 days later-------
"Now if you need anything else or feel anything you let us know" the doctors said. After he left she started to get dressed in the clothes her brother left her "hopefully he's over whatever he was mad about". When I walk out I spot my mom on the phone, "mom hey what is going on what was Ko talking about why are we going on a plane and to where?" "sweetie I can't talk right now ill talk to you later we are running late for our flight". "Mom!" she cries in the middle of being dragged by Olivia to the car.
