Chapter 28:

Chey's POV:

I woke to Muffin barking like crazy. "Muffinnnn shusshhh!!" I cover my ears with a pillow and groan. Something crashes from down stairs and I shoot up. "Cam?" I whisper, and look next to me. "Hmm" I shake him and he opens his eyes. "Cam...I think sometimes in the house" I say and he gets up. "Stay here" "Im not letting you go alone. If we die, we die together." I look at him and he grabs my hand.

We walk down stairs carefully, and Cam has the gun. I have 911 ready to dial. I look around the corner and see the window open. "Cam" I whisper and point over there. He turns the light on and his facial expression changes. He chuckles and I look. In side is a pair of raccoons. "Awee. I guess they are smarter than us" I say and smile. "How did they get in?" "I left the window slightly open for fresh air" I tell him and he shakes his head. I call animal control and they come take our little friends away to release them if they are rabbi free.

Hannah's POV:

I got in bed and Matt wrapped his arms around me. "Ah crap....now I gotta peeee" I groan, but Matt doesn't let go. "I don't wanna let gooooo" He whines and I laugh. "Cmon babe" I wriggle out and he frowns. "I'll be back, dont worry" I run and return in 3 min. I cuddle back up with Matt. "I love you" "I love you more"

The Next Day

The alarm goes off and I groan. "Shut upppppp" I hit the snooze button and cover my head. "Hannaahhhhh wake upppp" Matt says in my ear and I put my hand on his face, "Shhhh" I rub my finger was on his lips. He licks it and I look at him. "Nasty!!" I wipe it on his shirt and sit up. "Happy? Im up" "Very" He smiles and picks me up. "Cmon I made breakfast" He carrys me to the kitchen and I smile. "Thank you Mr.Espinosa" "Your welcome future Mrs.Espinosa" I laugh and we eat while watching Mean Girls. Matt really likes that movie for some reason...he is so weird.

I finish straightening my hair and a text from Chey pops up

Chey: Aye babe. Come over in like an hour

Hannah: Will do

I walk to the closet and look for an outfit. I pull out my acid wash jeans, a maroon crop top and a black and floral kimono. I pair it with a pair of black combat boots and a gold necklace. Matt walks in and smacks my butt. "Hey!!" "It's mine, so I can touch it!" He says cheekily and I laugh. "You look amazing babe" "Thanks hottie" I wink and walk out.

Chey's POV:

Hannah was coming over in an hour and I looked like a troll. I hop in the shower and finish quickly. I wrap my hair in a towel and look for an outfit. I pick my purple galaxy leggings and a white crop top. I wear my white high top converse and then blow dry my hair. I do basic make up and curl my hair.

I heard a knock on the door and raced Cameron to the door. "Ha! I won!" I laughed in his face and opened the door.

"Okay, so i back in high school.." I started and Hannah cut me off. "Chey those storys never end well!" "But they are funny!" I shoot back and we all laugh. "Babe Im gonna get a drink, want anything?" Cam asked, "Yeah, my pomegranate blueberry stuff" I say and kiss his cheek. Cameron and Matt go down to the kitchen and Hannah gasps. "CHEY WHEN DID YOU GET THAT RING!?!?!??!?!" "2 days ago...CAMERON PROPOSED!!!" I yell and we have a little happy dance.

Hannah's POV:

Im honestly happy for Cameron and Cheyenne but....I wanted this time of the year to be about me and Matt....is that bad? That Im mad at my best friend for...being happy?
