I woke up and looked out my window, it was still pretty wet outside from last night's rain. I don't know if it's because it's just April or if there's some other natural cause but it's been really damp out during the day and rainy at night. Then I saw Taehyung he looked like he was heading towards my house.
Crap. Crap. Crap. Craaaappp.
What do I do? I just woke up and he looks ready to leave. I look a mess. Just then there was a knock on the front door and a notification alert on my phone. Lucky for me my mom volunteered to open the door for me. I looked at my phone as expected, Taehyung was at my door ready to take me to school. I rushed into the bathroom, took a quick shower, and put on my school uniform. I had decided not to style my hair and just comb my naps out because I had no time to do anything with him downstairs waiting.
When I got downstairs he was sat at the table. "I didn't eat breakfast at home because I wanted to eat with you. Come sit I made us both some cereal."
Something was fishy. It was true he did make the cereal but he looked a little too happy to eat with me, he was grinning ear to ear. He never makes me food even if it is this simple. "Ok, Tae. How come you wanted to eat with me this morning?", I said as I sat down.
"Oh! Um... no reason I just missed you Ri-ri."
Ri-ri? Something's definitely going on. He only calls me that when he's lying or he's nervous. He never noticed that but I definitely did, there has only been a hand full of times that he's called me that for no reason. "Mmm....... ok." Like an idiot, I decided to shrug it off and take a bite into the cereal.
FUCK!!!!!!!
I knew something was wrong. My cereal was gritty and overly sweet as if he had poured an entire jar of sugar in my bowl. At first, I had looked shocked and then I decided to play it off as if there was nothing wrong. I knew he just wanted a reaction so I decided not to give him one. Maybe he'd get one later but not now. He watched me, amused waiting I just smirked and chewed like there was nothing wrong. After I finished that spoonful I told him, "I'm not very hungry Taehyung thanks for the delicious bowl of cereal."
"It was the least I could do my dear Cha-ri", I wanted to wipe that stupid, cocky smirk off of his beautifully perfect face. Ugghhhhhh. This is Taehyung my best frenemy since we were in diapers. We are both 17 and in the same class. We weren't always like this though we used to be super sweet to each other and then when we were around ten years old Tae initiated the first prank. Ever since then it's been prank wars, I know kind of childish but that's just us. I started to develop feelings for him when we had entered middle school and haven't been able to get rid of them. I want to tell him how I feel but I always chicken out.
* Taehyung POV* (a few moments earlier)
Cha-ri finally walked downstairs. I waited for a while but it's always worth seeing her she's so beautiful, I had to force my eyes to leave her. This morning I had prepared yet another silly prank for her. I had been doing this for years now, I started because it was a way to try and gain her attention and suppress my feelings but they always come rushing back.
She was pretty suspicious about the cereal but still tried it. When she realized all the sugar she tried to play it off but she's so easy to read.
