Infinity King: I Control The Universe

Prologue

3rd Person POV

Six gems; each having their own purpose in the universe. These Infinity Gems are remnants of a being who existed at the time of the universe's creation; it split into six different fragments. Each individual gem was associated with a particular facet: power, space, time, mind, soul, and reality.

A powerful item called: The Infinity Gauntlet, was designed to hold the six Infinity Gems; one being welds the gauntlet. That being is named F/N L/N; a being who once lived on a world that flourished with life, but all that life was snuffed out.

He seeks the six gems; he seeks to become a god with their power, with all six gems he could bend the universe to his will. But while on his conquest for power, the walls of reality weren't stable; some outside forces toys with the very fabric of reality. This resulted in the creation of a new universe; a universe that would bend to Y/N's will.

Though with this creation of a new universe met that his search for the gems would prove challenging, but Y/N will not give up his quest to hold the six gems. He will do what it takes to get ahold of this power; even if that means he has to get his hands dirty to do it.

Since the creation of this new universe, many heroes and villains encountered one another. The cause of this occurrence was unknown; many speculated that it could be a shift in reality. But to many, it still remains a mystery.

Y/N had arrived on a world that was ravaged by war; a world that became a battleground for combat, to the creatures who still live there see this as a playground. This didn't discourage him one bit though; he seeks out a being called The Champion. The Champion possesses the Power Gem; one gem that he would need first. He wore a cloak; this was mostly to keep his face hidden though the Infinity Gauntlet was showing.

Many bodies laid upon the dry terrain; the once luscious world is now a barren wasteland. While slowly walking down the rugged terrain; a scowl was present on Y/N's face while making his way to an arena-like area. He heard the sound of combat on the other side; as he walked into the arena he sees the Champion battling various opponents. Though their efforts were fruitless as the Champion was easily able to overpower them.

The wind grew stronger blowing up sand; this didn't bother neither the Champion nor Y/N. The Champion took notice of Y/N; to the Champion, this was another foe for him to face. Y/N immediately noticed the Power Gem on the Champion's forehead.

The Champion: "So! Another warrior wishes to do combat with me! What is your name?" The Champion shouted.

Y/N: "My name isn't important; I seek the gem that you wear on your forehead. Surrender it to me and you may keep living." Y/N spoke with a gruff voice.

The Champion: "Surrender my good luck charm; I will not surrender such an item so easily! If you wish to have it then you will fight me for it! But I will most likely win our confrontation!" He boasted.

Y/N: "So, you wish to do combat with me; will you be worthy enough to best me?"

The Champion: "Yes! For I am the invincible Champion! You will see my immeasurable power!" The Champion spoke with a prideful tone.

The Champion rushes towards Y/N; however, this was an error on the Champion's part. He threw a punch at Y/N, though he ducked under the punch; Y/N followed this maneuver of his with an uppercut with the hand that wore the gauntlet. This uppercut was able to knock the Champion back, but once fell to the ground he quickly recovered.

He then tries to rely on brute strength again; Y/N, however, was using this to his advantage as the Champion blindly attacks him. The Champion tries to punch Y/N once more with his right hand, but Y/N steps to the side. When the Champion noticed this he was off balance; Y/N grabbed the Champion's hair which he quickly yanks back making the Champion stumble towards him.

Y/N follows up with a punch to the face with his right hand, then he kicks the Champion in the gut causing the brute to cough up spit.

Y/N: "For someone as mighty as yourself, you're proving to be a weak opponent."

The Champion: "I will not lose here! I am the Champion! My strength is mighty; I am undefeatable, I am..." He was cut off by Y/N punching him with his left hand.

Y/N: "Weak! You talk too much about your strength, for a champion I am really disappointed." Y/N mocked the Champion.

The Champion: "Damn you! I will not lose here!" The Champion yelled at the top of his lungs; letting his anger control him, the Champion blindly attacks Y/N who just dodges all of his punches. "You will be defeated by me!"

But when the Champion went in for one more punch, Y/N ducks under it; this was a great opportunity for him to attack him. He quickly punches the Champion on the forehead which makes him stumble back a bit from it. Once The Champion looked at Y/N, he saw that he had the Power Gem.

Y/N: "Though I commend your bravery, this battle is over now. Such power doesn't belong to a mere brute who misuses it; you don't understand the power you possess with this gem." Y/N puts the red gem into a slot in the gauntlet; Y/N felt more powerful once the gem was connected to the gauntlet.

The Champion: "How did you take my lucky charm?" He asked with a confused tone.

Y/N: "You were so blinded by rage, that you were focusing on defeating me that you forgot to protect the gem on your forehead. Now that I've obtained what I wanted, our battle is over." Y/N began to walk away; his hood on his cloak still made it hard to see his face.

The Champion: "Hey! You've never beaten me yet!" He blindly rushes at Y/N; though he was quickly knocked unconscious by a backhand from him.

Y/N: "There, you've gotten your pathetic fight; now I will obtain the rest of the gems. My goal is almost completed."

Y/N walks away from the arena as the winds picked up sand; this results in sandy winds. The Champion lied on the ground, defeated, unconscious. Now that Y/N has obtained the Power Gem, he seeks the rest of the gems.

Y/N: "Only five more to go."

Now I bet people are wondering why I'm not using the MCU version of the Infinity Gems, well like I said before, that version is overrated. People use that version way too much, I'm calling them what they were called in the comics. The colors of the gems will also be like the comic's version, so, yeah I want to do more of the comic book version. The gauntlet can look like however you want it too, but they won't be called Infinity Stones in this story. Anyways that's the prologue, I just wanted to get a prologue out for this story then go back to working on Hero of Reality.
