Team 7 were standing in the Hokage's office, Tsunade behind the desk, and Orochimaru next to the desk.
"Grandma whats Uncle doing here?" Naruto asked.
"He wants to be able to help your team have even better teamwork," Tsunade replied.
"We're the best team in Konoha. What else could we do?" Sakura asked.
"Well, Orochimaru has a potion thats supposed to make you three be able to speak telepathically. It would improve your teamwork because then you could know how each other thinks, what your next move will be, and maybe even share training techniques. If you're bored, you could even have mental conversations," Tsunade explained.
"What are the side effects?" Sasuke asked.
"I tested it on myself and my assistant, Kabuto. We have not experienced any side effects," Orochimaru replied.
"Alright, lets do it," Sakura and Naruto agreed. They all looked at Sasuke.
"Fine. Naruto, you better not think about ramen all the time," Sasuke warned.
"I wont!" Naruto said.
"Kakashi, will you be taking it too?" Tsunade asked.
"No. I dont want them to read Jiraiya's books through my mind," Kakashi replied.
"I absolutely refuse to read those perverted books," Sasuke said. Orochimaru unsealed something on his arm, it was a scroll. He put it on the desk and unsealed it. Three flasks, 2/3 full with a yellow liquid, poofed onto the desk.
"The potions require blood from each of you, but not yourself. Say, Sakura's drink will require the blood of Sasuke and Naruto, but not her own," Orochimaru said.
"Why does it require blood?" Sakura asked.
"So the potion knows who to make the telepathic bond with," Orochimaru replied.
-Small Timeskip-
All three potions were now orange, signifying the blood and original potions were mixed. The genin of Team 7 were each holding a flask.
"Drink all of it. It might hurt a bit due to there being more blood than necessary. You'll pass out, and you will be in a dream where you are all there," Orochimaru said. The three genin looked at each other before drinking the potion with a single go. All three of them let out a grunt of pain before passing out.
