Ariel and the Sunken Ship

Okay so honestly this theory was requested and it made me quite intrigued to find out more about this theory. So the theory is that the sunken ship that Ariel finds in the first movie of The Little Mermaid is the same one that King Agnarr and Queen Iduna from Frozen tragically died in. And yes this is possible and quite true to be honest, however as I've stated in my last theory the King and Queen aren't the same people as Tarzan's parents so their shipwreck is totally different to the one in this theory.

In this theory I'm going to be explaining why Rapunzel's wedding isn't where the King and Queen were headed when their ship sank to the bottom of the ocean for Ariel to find.

Now first things first, how do I know the ship in Frozen is the same as in The Little Mermaid? Well with close examination (Watching the movies just because I felt like it :) ) I found some few key elements about the ship, such as the cabin windows are uniquely square, the body of the ship's are closely alike, however the kings ship did have three masks but the one Ariel finds has one, this could mean that the masks were swept away as the ship was being torn apart by the ocean.

Now that we have answered that question, on to the next. How did the ship get onto shore in Frozen 2 if it was at the bottom of the ocean? Well, this is where another Disney movie comes into this theory.

The Ocean from MoanaIf you have seen Moana you will know that throughout her journey to return the heart of Tafiti, the ocean helps her, it chooses her because it knows she can for fill this quest

The Ocean from Moana
If you have seen Moana you will know that throughout her journey to return the heart of Tafiti, the ocean helps her, it chooses her because it knows she can for fill this quest. Well since that is believable, maybe its the same for in Frozen 2. Maybe it was the ocean who brought the ship up from the dark seas and placed the ship on the beach for Anna and Elsa to find. This is to ensure they do find the map their mother and father were following to Ahtohallan (The magical island place) to find out if that was the source to Elsa's power. Since this was stated/found out in the second movie of Frozen we now know for sure that it most definitely wasn't Rapunzel's wedding the king and Queen were headed.

Sorry this theory wasn't more to do with Ariel but I think it's still interesting non the less.

Thank you for reading this theory, if you have any suggestions to any theories you would like me to explore don't be afraid to let me know!
