Nicky's POV
I slowly walk up to my new home. When I sent my mom and dad pictures my dad said it was green my mom said it was blue. I think it's more teel. I see my neighbors home next door ,so I walk up confident he is home. I knock on the door softly then ring the bell."hello?"a voice calls from inside."hi,I'm Nicky ..."I pause knowing I sound stupid outloud."Nice to meet you Nicky I'm Theodore, Theodore Masters Peterson,but you can just call me Mr. Peterson,or Peterson. I smile. he smiles back. "Well I'm Nicky,Nicky Roth." We shake hands. I look at him about to tell him I'm his new neighbor but all I do is blush. He looked confused at my sudden red face so I turn away.
Mr. Peterson's POV
I notice him blushing,his face turns red. 'Was he blushing at me or is that just normal for him to blush at anyone he meets'. I smile hopeing it doesn't make this more awkward. He looks up at me and smiles back. "So are you the new neighbor" I only said this to kill the silence,I think I made it worse. "Yes." He says oddly calm.
I smile.
Then he says goodbye and walks back home. When I got in I sat down and began to blush at the thought of him. 'What am i thinking we just met, he probably doesn't like me the same'
