BROKEN CRYONS STILL COLOR

Part 5

The journey to khanna mansion was peacefully silent. Even though avni and neil didn't open up about their feelings, but they do start getting butterflies in stomach. Neil was stealing glances at avni while avni was busy looking outside. its been almost a month she didn't went outside of the house they were staying .the first people she saw after the horrible incident were khannas and juhi. Juhi's appearance made her insecure for some reasons even though ahe know nothing about her.
Soon they reached khanna mansion.dd was waiting for them. All got outside. Neil carefully made avni out of the car and stand on her feet
But seeing another man in front of her, she tried to hide behind neil. Neil slowly bought her infront and side hugged her telling that not to worry.

Neil: hey... Avni.. Dont worry... He is my friend. he will be just like your brother. he will take care of you just like we. Don't worry.

Avni just nodded still not believing fully.

Bebe: neil bring her inside. She will be tired.

Swetha : i will ask bheema to make guest room ready.

Neil : 1 minute mom.. I don't think we should let avni stay alone. She will stay in my room with me. As she dont know you or bebe much, i cant let her being uncomfortable here.

All nodded agreeing.

All went inside while neil looked at dd indicating that wait for him.

All went inside. Neil took avni to his room. Avni just looked around to see not doing what to do. Her brain and heart was all freezed. The ability to think and react was long gone from her. She was just like a living doll.
The only emotional breakdown was the moment when Swetha hugged her.

After making her sit on the bed,  Neil  told

Neil: Avni.. You want to lie down?
You want anything?
Are you comfortable in here?

For all avni just looked at him and nodded.

Neil: ok you stay here.  Towards the right is the washroom and beside is closet. If you want anything just let me know. I m going to meet dd. Will come soon. Ok?? Take rest

Avni just nodded and neil left from there. When he came down everyone was sitting in the hall.

Prakash : How is avni now?

Neil: she is there taking rest. Please keep an eye on her everyone she won't say anything if she needs also. Take care of her. I will combe back in some time.

With that neil went out towards dd.

Neil: dd come we have to go to police station. upcoming days are going to be hectic for us.

Both get into car and left to police station.  When neil entered everyone greeted him.
Neil and dd went to Neil's office.

Dd: sirji... Who is she? What happened to her?  And where is juhi madam?

Neil: She is avni. And answer to your second question is ahe was molested.. May be by 2 or more people.

Dd was shocked.neil explained dd what juhi did and how he met avni. Hearing all this dd's hearted for juhi increased.

Dd: i knew it sir. I knew that juhi is not good for you.

Neil: now i know dd. But thatnks to her. If she didn't pull that stund, how will i met avni.

Dd: sirji...

Neil: yes dd.. I m feeling protective towards her.  When i saw her at the cliff the pain i felt was something i never felt. that pain i didn't feel when i saw juhi with that man. But one loom of avni i was feeling like something broke inside my heart. 
At that time i only thought to save her.  I didnt want her to be a public joke.  You know how iur society will treat her.

Dd: i understood sir.. But what now?

Neil: tomorrow lets go to that place where all this happened.

Dd: sure sir.. But juhi madam.. What you will do with her. You know she is like a leach..

Neil: i will take care of her. dd try to find all details about avni today itself. Her family, friends,  everything possible.

Dd: ok sir.

Neil: you can go now. I will complete some files and and will go to homw.

Dd: ok sir..

Neil left from there and started completely his pending works as soon as possible.

Tada... Next update... May be 2 or 3 more to go.. After that this journey will come to a happy ending.
