Chapter 3

Sapphire was alone. She had no one else in her life.

After the incident the police didn't seem to believe what sapphire said against that filthy pedophile she called her uncle because outside the house he was a "saint" and plus all the evidence pointed to her the finger prints on the knife and glass so they placed her in "a fucking asylum".

But she wasn't she wasn't crazy. She pleaded and cried for her innocence. But here she was.

It had been days since she was locked up there. She was never allowed out of her room and most of the time Mrs grey her psychiatrist was constantly bugging her. Sapphire thought she was quite nice but a bit pesty

Sapphire stood from her bed and stared out the window thinking of how her life was a mess.

Her birthday just seemed like a curse but she appeared to just be spaced out after the incident.

She didn't feel any emotions. she had lost all faith in humanity. But one thing was sure she couldn't live in this wretched world anymore. she had no reason to be alive. She wasn't living for anyone anymore. Everyone she ever cared about was dead.

Sapphire let out a scream of frustrations as she fell onto the floor."why me,I have no one left in my life. No friends. No family, why God why? Just kill me already. Just fucking kill me" she shouted as she tried to cry but no tears came.

She then stood up and picked up a pen on her bed she'd been given earlier and begun hopelessly slashing her wrist with the tip of the pen till her blood began to stain her hospital like gown.

She still didn't feel any pain "why doesn't this hurt" she thought "oh God what's wrong with me" she said as she sat on the floor helpless. She had no reason to keep on living that was until she met him.
