Chapter 7 - The Task

Hiii, I'm back! Thank you for all of your positive comments in the last chapter!

Sorry for taking so long with this chapter. Damn... It's been over a month. I'll just make a quick summary of the previous chapter for those who forgot:

Soo, Dabi tried to comfort Himiko after her friend Magne got killed, and it kind of worked. Then, Himiko called Izuku. They met in the park for their date where Himiko showed interest for Izuku's heroicness for the first time after she had a mental battle with herself. (She told herself that she had to decide one day between the League and Izuku.) There, Izuku promised to be there for her if she needed anything and Izuku's mom Inko saw them together in a shop. When Himiko returned to the LoV, she had to decide whether or not to use Izuku for information. She refused. That made Shigaraki angry, but he gave her a last chance in the end. He had a task for her.

Izuku rushed back to the dorms with One For All and entered trough his window which was still open. As he got in, he noticed a Mineta who scared the shit out of him. He was searching for something with a magnifying glass.

"Izuku! You scared me! Where have you been?" He asked angrily.

"I scared you? You scared me! What are you doing here in my room??"

"Don't change the topic Izuku, why were you gone for so long?"

"I-I'm not changing the t-topic!"

"If you answer my question then I'll answer yours."

Izuku needed to think of a good lie to escape this situation."I just wanted to buy a new limited edition gym jacket!" Izuku took the jacket out of his bag and showed it to him. "See? Here." A half-lie worked too.

"Hmph. And why did it take so long?"

"The s-store was far away... But what are you doing in my room with a magnifying glass?"

Mineta kept looking around his room with that thing. "I'm searching for hints Izuku. I- no. WE need to find out who your secret lover is." He dramatically pointed his finger at him.

"What are yo-"

"AND LOOK AT WHAT I FOUND!" Mineta took a blonde hair strand from his bed and showed it to him. Izuku gulped. "Izuku you dirty dog! You slept with your girlfriend here?"

"...uh...n-no."

"Then how did it came here?"

"...It m-must have been the wind! I-I swear it was the wind!"

"What?"

"Yes, y-you see, I ventilate my r-room very often."

"..."

"..."

...The atmosphere was filled with silence...

"You won this battle Izuku. You won the battle, because I'm not good enough in Physics to know whether a hair strand is light enough to be carried by the wind here in Japan or not, but you won't win this war." He left the room with his eyes narrowed, after he took the hair strand and put it in a small transparent box.

"Wait! Did the others notice my absence?" Izuku asked.

"Doesn't seem like it." Mineta said loudly from the other side of the door.

'I should have locked my room before leaving.'

One day later.

Aizawa announced, "Good morning class. Today we will visit Tokyo's Institute of support items since...uh... many of you aren't happy with Mei Hatsume's 'small' workshop and" *cough* "'dangerous' support items. At the institute, plenty of professionals will be there to help you find a support item that fits with your quirks, and if there isn't one, they will make one."
