5:45 AM, A cloudy sunrise at the city.

Cats glare at me from the shadows. I can feel their unsettling presence. I try to focus on the empty streets in front of me. Instinct tells me I should get out of the dirty place before these cats attack me. Rain drips down into my pelt, and I jump. I try to stop my pelt bristling, I don't want to show these cats how weak I am.
Keep walking, look strong, keep looking ahead, look tough.
I hear a noise from beside me. A small, slim she-cat snarls at me, and slips into the shadows.
Great, now they all know I'm here.

After walking through to the other edge of the city, the buildings begin to look abandoned. Some housedwellers call this place the 'Ghost Town' or the 'Spirit Side' of the city.
Nonsense. This is just a place where cats thrive, and humans don't. Those cats just can't stay away from their humans.
Beyond that is the Storm district. It was named that, because most of the rain that came from being the city came from that direction. No cat had been there for generations. The last cat that went there had said that the whole place was flooded, but nobody wanted to see for themselves. He was mad and nearing blindness. Nobody had intentions to go there.

Except Me.

Same rainy morning in the abandoned zone, Rain's perspective.

I splash about in the puddles, smiling and laughing. I silence myself when I see a dark, shadowy figure slink towards the forest. My forest. I peer at him, but I step in a puddle. The Tom turned his head around, looking directly at me. I snarl at him, and whisper "Get away from my home!"
He doesn't seem to have heard. I sigh, and retreat back to the Shadows. A ton of cats are glaring at me, and they'll gang up on me soon. I go to the top of a building, and watch The Tom from afar. He doesn't notice me, and I see him preparing to leave the city, to my forest! I pounce down off of the tree, and come up to him. He seems too mesmerized by the view of my forest. I prepare myself, and without thinking about if first, I say:
"Nice view, eh?"
