After (y/n) and Tora left Alex and Darling were just standing there, baffled.
"Tsk!Grrr,idiot..how dare he.They better stay away .Grr!" Alex was mumbling and grumbling.
"Alex please.."
"Ple-WHAT!? Did you her how he talked to me!?"
"I did.So?"
"SO!?.....s-so he.."
"He was doing the same thing as you. Protecting his mate.Tora, was it? They are pretty cute couple--"
"NO the are NOT!"
"Oh,and why not?" He was quiet again. "Let's talk about this at home." Darling said hugging him. Alex sight and nuzzled her.
"Alright." He picked her up and they went back to their library.
---TIME SKIP---
Alex was walking around the library trying to make (y/n)'s smell go away. It smelt gross and he hated it. Only HE hated it. Now that he thought about it...it really wasn't a big deal. Rare humans that come here wouldn't notice anyway. He made a bigger fuss about it than it should have been. As he was thinking, he realized he walked in the 'Love section'. That's where you and Darling would spend most of your time together. No.. no, not most...ALL of your time together. Darling always did have a hard time finding friends. A couple of days have passed since his fight with Tora, and Darling wasn't doing so well. He couldn't blame her though..she lost her friend, and it was his fault. He promised her and himself that he will do anything to make her happy. But he was SO sure that (y/n) was evil! He just wanted to protect his mate! But he was wrong, he didn't even try to talk with (y/t). It was soo absurd to him that there would be Youkai's that aren't bad! It just seemed impossible. But he admits, he was wrong...about everything. Alex heard footsteps coming closer to him, so he peeked out of the isle to see who it was. "Hi Darling." He said.
"Morning sweety.." He gave her a little peck on her forehead.
"Are you OK?" He asked.
"Hm? Oh, yeah.. I'm fine." She said hugging his quickly. " I just gotta go out to get some food, be back before you know it." And so she left the library. Alex sighed and went to their house that was connected to the library and into their bedroom. He plopped down on the bed and just..was laying there. He's the worst boyfriend ever. He had to make it up to her somehow! He took his phone and texted Darling.
A-*Babe*
After a few moments she replied.
D-*Alex, I just left! What is it?* *I told you I won't be long, so what is so important sweety?* * Did something happened!?*
Alex chucled. I't was so nice to see how she cared about him, even tho he was an idiot to her. 'Wait!' He suddenly got and idea.
A-*Well, I just wanted to say..take your time.* *I got a small surprise planned for you when you get home, but I might need some time.*
D-*OOH! yay! You know I love surprises! What is it*
A- *If I told you, then it wouldn't be a surprise.* He laughed at how silly his partner can be sometimes. '*SIGH* That's one of the reasons I love her...'
D-*Oh! Yeah! Well, see ya NOT so soon then!*
