A/N: Be sure to tell me if somethings not right in what I've written.

"Hey, get off the game and go outside, Rae-Rae. That game music is giving me a headache." Shouted my mom from the kitchen.

"Don't call me Rae-Rae. 'Ray' is fine."

"I'll call you whatever I want. Now get outside for a while... My show is on."

"Ugh, why?" I replied.

"Because you've been inside all day."

"...like that's a crime?" I muttered, rolling my eyes. "I'm in the middle of a game with Issac! I haven't seen him since we moved!"

"Sunshine is good for you, sweetheart, and you need to get some before it rains today. Isaac can wait."

"I need lunch anyway, Ray." A voice from the headset said in my ear. "I'm signing off. See ya!"

I shut the Xbox off and stretched my arms above my head. My shoulders and back were tense from being in one position for too long. I supposed that every gamer had to get out every now and then! Mom wins this time.

Warming up my stiff muscles and joints before I left, I got into a jog. Feeling the need for the scenic, I headed towards the little bit of woods on the way.

The trail is my favorite route, a mile long and smooth with no pitfalls. It had a nice, natural feel that was lacking from my entertainment system and a part of me wondered why I didn't get out more often.

I broke into a faster pace, taking long strides and enjoying the fresh air. I looked up at the sky and saw some large, grey clouds. Though they were dark, and sort of ominous, they were fairly usual for Oklahoma, right?

Remembering what Mom had said about it raining today, I decided it was time to find some cover under the trees.

I pumped my legs hard, until I was almost at a sprint. The trees were in sight, when suddenly I felt raindrops falling heavily on my head. My hair was soaked in moments as, raindrops splashed off my chest and legs, drenching me through to the skin. All of a sudden, a massive flash of lightning lands close to me, although I couldn't see what it was but I felt a shiver go up my spine and heard the crack of thunder. I'm fairly worried now and I get to full speed, the trees blurred at the side of my vision. my vision goes completely white as I felt my skin tearing as a searing pain enveloped my back . "Am I dead? Oh my god I hope I'm not dead.
