I slightly opened my eyes and saw a tall but well-built man standing slightly in front of me. He wore a trench coat with matching baggy pants all in white and to top it off, an iconic looking cap on his head. I took a glimpse of the thief who was lying unconsciously in the way back. 'When did he punch him!? How did he even get here so quickly!?' I then look up at the tall man, who was already glancing back down at me with a piercing glare. I froze as I met his emerald orbs. 'W-why does h-he look a lot like. . . J-Josuke!?'

"𝐉𝗼𝐭𝐚𝐫𝗼?"

Josuke's mom said with a groan while rubbing her rear as she tried to stand up. The man named Jotaro walks past me and goes straight towards her aid, completely ignoring me. The coldness of his sudden shift sent chills down my spine.

"𝐇𝐞𝐲! 𝐈𝐭'𝐬 𝐉𝗼𝐬𝐮𝐤𝐞'𝐬 𝗺𝗼𝗺!"

A raspy voice commented.

"𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐉𝗼𝐭𝐚𝐫𝗼!?"

'That second voice seems, familiar?' Just then a guy with an medium athletic build walks in. Slightly above the average height, with coal-black orbs. 'He wears the same uniform as Josuke- is he also a student?' Behind him followed the same boy I saw with Josuke a few days ago. 'Koichi, was it?'

"𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭'𝐬 𝐠𝗼𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝗼𝐧 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐉𝗼𝐭𝐚𝐫𝗼? 𝐈𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝗺𝐲 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝!?"

Koichi blurts out, standing defensively through the entrance of the market. 'E-enemy!?' Meanwhile the other high schooler walks in my direction and gave me a hand.

"𝐎𝗼𝗼~ 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭'𝐬 𝐲𝗼𝐮𝐫 𝐧𝐚𝗺𝐞 𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐞?"

He cooed which made me feel slightly uncomfortable.

"𝐔𝐡, (𝐘/𝐧)..."

I answered trying to be polite as he helped me get back up on my feet.

"(𝐘/𝐧)? 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭'𝐬 𝐚 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐲 𝐧𝐚𝗺𝐞 𝐟𝗼𝐫 𝐚 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐲 𝐠𝐢𝐫𝐥 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐲𝗼𝐮! 𝐇𝐞𝐡𝐞!"

"𝐎𝐤𝐮𝐲𝐚𝐬𝐮. 𝐍𝗼𝐰𝐬 𝐧𝗼𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐢𝗺𝐞 𝐭𝗼 𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐟𝗼𝗼𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡.

Jotaro warns the boy. His eyes searched for Koichi who stood afar in the entrance.

𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞'𝐬 𝐉𝗼𝐬𝐮𝐤𝐞."

He demanded. The tone of his voice shooked my insides, with powerful vocal-cords like that I couldn't help but become stiff, again. Josuke's mom came to my side and comforted me by putting her arm around my shoulders. She looked confused as much as I did.

"𝐖𝐞 𝐝𝗼𝐧'𝐭 𝐤𝐧𝗼𝐰, 𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝗼𝗼𝐥 𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐢𝐝 𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝗼 𝐝𝗼 𝐬𝗼𝗺𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝗺𝐩𝗼𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭. 𝐇𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝗺𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝗼𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭—

Koichi replies back with a look of concern.

"𝐂𝗼𝗺𝐞 𝐭𝗼 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝗼𝐟 𝐢𝐭, 𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐬𝐧'𝐭 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝗼𝗼𝐥 𝐞𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫...? 𝐇𝐞'𝐬 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐡 𝐚 𝐰𝐞𝐢𝐫𝐝 𝐠𝐮𝐲"

Okuyasu added confusedly, getting deep into thought.

I quietly gasped at the thought of Josuke going missing. Putting a hand over my chest I glanced at his mother who looked as if she was in some sort of daze.

"𝐆𝗼𝗼𝐝 𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐟, 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝗺𝐲 𝐥𝐮𝐜𝐤."

Jotaro then looks back at the thief who is still unconsciously lying on the floor. He observes him with caution, almost as if he was waiting for something. And suddenly the ground began to shake! As the lights began to flicker uncontrollably! I tried to hold my balance as I wrapped my arms around Josuke's mother's torso.

"𝐀𝐧 𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐤𝐞!?"

She yells as she tightens her grip on my shoulders.

We all looked around the market that is now turning into a complete mess, products being thrown onto the ground and people screamed as they ran out of the place. I then noticed my phone was buzzing on the ground from afar. 'It must have fallen out of my pocket from the fall earlier!' I quickly ran up to grab it trying to maintain my balance as I did, and from the corner of my eyes I saw the thief's leg twitch for a second.

"𝐇-𝐡𝐞'𝐬 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐤𝐞!" Koichi yells, with a point

Everyone looked at the lying man with wide eyes. 'WHAT!?' I suddenly felt someone pull me back from my wrist and hug me with a twirl. It was Jotaro! His back faced the sudden explosion as he held me up against his chest, I screamed fearing the situation. I heard Josuke's mom yell my name as the explosion died down. I looked up glancing at Jotaro's facial features, while still being in his grip. He reminds me of Josuke for some reason and for a brief moment it felt... nice? His warmth went cold once he lets go of me and laughter bought me back into reality.

"𝐆𝐄𝐓 𝐎𝐔𝐓 𝐎𝐅 𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄, 𝐍𝐎𝐖!"

He orders while Josuke's mom reaches for my hand and pulls me away from him. Okuyasu led us outside and far from the market, but the loud 𝙱𝙾𝙾𝙼𝙸𝙽𝙶 noises continued. 'That doesn't sound like any normal robbery! What the hell is happening!?'

💎 💎 💎

Josuke's mom took me to her house to calm ourselves down. She was throwing a tantrum about the sudden situation and how it could have had us killed. To then talk about her son's whereabouts.

"𝐈𝐭'𝐬 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭! 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐄𝐋𝐋 𝐈𝐒 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐁𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐃!?"

She yells as she paced back and forth.

'Does Josuke always worry her like this?' She took out her cell and began dialing to what I assume was his number, so intensely. Just then my phone vibrated, a message from Estacía appeared on my screen. '𝐹𝑖𝑛𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑦 ℎ𝑜𝑚𝑒! 𝑊ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒 𝑎𝑟𝑒 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑏𝑦 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑤𝑎𝑦?' I sighed, relieved that she was okay I got up from the couch to set my half-empty cup of water on the low table in front of me.

"𝐇𝐔𝐇!? 𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐃𝐎 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐌𝐄𝐀𝐍 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐏𝐏𝐄𝐃 𝐁𝐘 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐊𝐄𝐓!?"

'Josuke's in the market!? Thee market!?' Where the robbery took place!?' As his mom ended the call she seemed relieved, which slightly settled my panic. She then faces me with an awkward smile—

"𝐂𝐫𝐚𝐳𝐲 𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐡𝐮𝐡? 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚 𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝗼 𝐫𝐮𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠..." She sighs and I nodded in agreement with her.

"𝐋𝐞𝐭'𝐬 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐲𝗼𝐮 𝐡𝗼𝗺𝐞, 𝐝𝗼𝐧'𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐲𝗼𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭'𝐬 𝐭𝗼 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐳𝐲"

We laughed.

💎 💎 💎

I entered the house and Estacía welcomes me with a hug, she looked extra happy? She pulls me into the kitchen where she forced me to sit in front of the table, as she walks over to bring me a bowl of soup that I'm guessing she made. She sets it in front of me and the delicious smell of
𝑳 𝒆 𝒏 𝒕 𝒊 𝒍 • 𝒔 𝒐 𝒖 𝒑 greets me.

"𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐝 𝐲𝗼𝐮 𝐠𝗼?"

She asks with a smile.

She sits in front of me with her own bowl and I told her everything, obviously. She looked surprised as she heard my every word, she was shockingly calm about it all though. To then nag me about not going out so late, I giggled with a sweat drop. 'It's nice having someone around to talk to'

She hesitated to tell me why she was out to then shake it off with a smile. It almost looked too happy. 'Should I be worried?'
