It was a nice, bright day for the citizens of Monte Macabre. Everyone was doing their own thing. Some people were playing soccer or basketball, while others were running their own business. Everything and everyone was calm. Except for a certain mischievous young boy and mysterious young girl.

Victor and Charlene.

Victor is running through the streets of Monte Macabre away from Charlene once again. Charlene has a huge crush on Victor, and has been chasing him every chance she got. Victor doesn't want any part of it, so he just runs away from her. It's gotten to the point where Victor is sick of it, and he wants it to stop.

So on that particular occasion, Victor stops in his tracks and turns to face Charlene, who slows down and stops in front of him.

"What do you WANT from me Charlene?" Victor asks, annoyed.

"What do you mean what do I want from you? What I want IS you!" Charlene replies.

"You want ME? Want as in, as a...boyfriend?" Vic asks her in a worrisome tone.

Charlene nods.

"Oh geez." Vic puts his hands over his eyes and sighs.

"Is there something wrong?" Charlene asks.

"Charlene. I've told you once, I've told you a million times. Your weird and creepy." Vic says.

Charlene gasps and hearts appear in her eyes.

"Victor...you didn't have to give me a compliment, but thank you." Charlene says, giggling.

Victor just looks at her confused before shaking it off and walking away. He turned corners, making sure she wasn't following him. Seeing that she was nowhere to be seen, he walked home. He suddenly felt some weird feeling inside him, but he shook it off and came to the front door.

Victor walked inside, where he was met with his older half brother, Valentino.

"Hey Vic. Where have you been?" Val asked, setting down the book he was reading.

"Running away from Charlene, AGAIN." Vic replied in an annoyed tone.

"Geez. Have you confronted her about this yet?" Val asked.

"Con what?" Vic confusingly asked.

Val sighed. "ConFRONTED, Victor. I'm basically saying did you talk to her face to face?"

"Oh. Yeah, I did." Vic replied.

"What did she say about it?" Val asked.

"She said she WANTED me. She wants me as a BOYFRIEND, Val. Her BOYFRIEND. I said she was weird and creepy, but she took it as a dang compliment." Vic explained.

"I mean, this isn't really surprising. It's obvious she has a crush on you anyway." Val said.

"Wait. You KNEW she had a crush on me? Why didn't you tell me?!" Vic yelled.

"You didn't know? Vic, she's literally given out dozens of signs that she likes you." Val explained.

Vic crossed his arms and squinted his eyes at Val. "Oh yeah? Like what?"

"She took you on that date when we went with them to El Pintor's mansion. You gave her flowers, read love poems to her, held her hand, had a romantic dinner for two, and nearly kissed. Also, when Shelly died and you brought all of Charlene's dead animals back to life, she made you compliment her to make them stop. Is that enough reasons, or should I go on?" Val says, copying Vic's stance.

Vic looked defeated and lowered his arms. "I get the point."

"Good. Now the real question is, do 𝙮𝙤𝙪 like Charlene too?" Val smirked.

Vic opened his mouth in shock. "WHAT?! Your asking me if I LIKE Charlene like THAT?! Of course not! She's creepy!"

"Then why are you blushing?" Val smiled and raised an eyebrow at his younger half brother.

"I'm not blushing! I'll prove it! Gimme that mirror!" Vic pointed to a mirror on the table.

Val handed the mirror to Vic and Vic looked at his face in shock.

It was true.

He 𝙬𝙖𝙨 blushing.

Vic looked up at Val. Val's face said it all. He had proven his point.

Val walked over to the staircase and put a hand on the banister before turning back to Vic.

"Looks like those feelings were unexpected for you, huh Vic." Val said before going upstairs.

Vic walked over to the couch and sat down, mirror still in hand. He looked at himself again.

He was still blushing.

He put the mirror back on the table and sighed.

"There's no way I have a crush on Charlene. There's just no way. I don't like her like that."

"𝘿𝙤 𝙄?"
