Battle Between Spirits Volume Two (Lyrics)

As we sail out into sea, I watch as the water turned black. I fear this might be the end.

My soldiers have gone mad, they're jumping off the ship! But something lurks beneath our vessel, I feel it deep within my soul.

As the rain came down the thunder rolled across the sky. Lighting flashed I caught a glimpse, I saw the beast, as he rose above the water

He spoke to me and said, "I curse you, to the depths of the sea!"

It raised it's hand, it smashed my ship and I was thrown into the water. He came back to drag me under, but something inside  me told me, this was not over.

I kicked my leg free, and tried to make my way to the surface. As I surfaced and caught my breath I then called upon my God. "Lord hear my plea, take this beast away from me."

At that very moment, the heavens opened up and a loud voice spoke. "I banish this beast to the depths of hades, where it belongs!" Fire fell from the sky onto the beast and it was taken down into the cold and bitter darkness of the abyss.

I then swam to a nearby island, I stepped foot on shore, I see a cave in the distance as it starts to get dark, I make my way to the cave and I fall to my knees.

This is where a new journey begins.

Volume two, tells us a story about a warrior, who embarks on a noble quest to find his purpose in life. He, and his crew, set out into sea, hoping to find what they seek. However, it seams what they are searching for, was right beneath their ship.

Rain came beating down on Eerikkil's vessel, as lightning flashed, and thunder tore through the sky. A horrific creature then emerged from the water. The crew was placed under a spell, forcing them against their will, to jump off the ship into the water, where each of them met a fatal end.

   As the warrior, Eerikkil, figured out that he was now alone on the ship, he saw the creature lift what seamed to be a long scaled hand out of the water. Eerikkil, was thrown backwards into the water, as the creature crushed his ship. The beast submerged into the water and grabbed Eerikkil by the leg, as it tried to pull him under. Eerikkil, felt as though, his life was not quite at an end. He felt his adrenalin over power him, granting him with the strength to kick his leg free from the creature's grasp.

  Eerikkil, then surfaced, he called to God, asking Him to take away the beast. The sky then began to open up, and a voice came crashing down from the heavens, banishing the creature to depths of hell. Fire was hurled down upon the creature. It then vanished into the sea.

  The warrior then swam to an island he saw off in the distance. As he approached the island, he began feeling weary, he pushed on knowing he had to move fast before the tide came in to greet him. After stepping onto shore, he saw a cave peaking through the cold, dense, air. He looked up and saw it was getting dark, and the cave served as the perfect shelter from the cold and rainy night.

What will become of our courageous warrior? Will he encounter something in the cave? Find out in the next chapter of Battle Between Spirits (Volume Three)!
