In the beginning of the world, the creator created the Sirens and Humanity. The Sirens were beings of unimaginable abilities, they alone wiped most of humanity to the point that years later only ten percent of the world was made up of humans. Why? Well, Sirens lived by the concept of evolution through combat and so they fought many wars with man just to move their own lives forward. This cycle continued for years until one day, the Sirens for some unknown reason, decided to give life to the warships made by humans, this was the start of man and ship co-existing in the world.
With these human ships by humanity's side, there was hope. They defended the world from the Sirens, and through this endeavour the alliance of Azur Lane was formed.
Eagle Union, Royal Navy, Ironblood and Sakura Empire, were the four biggest members of this unity, but there were many more from all over the world. Every country played a part in defending the Earth from the Sirens, and for what seemed like a long time the defences of the humans were working.
But not everything lasts forever...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Within Azur Lane, the factions of the Sakura Empire and Ironblood decided to use the technology of the Sirens as a way to defend humanity and this created a rift between everyone. This then led to Ironblood along with the Sakura Empire to create the Red Axis.
Their philosophy? The future of mankind can only be saved by serving the Sirens and using their powers to grow.
Conflict after conflict, both sides destroyed each other in the form of a world war. In order to prevent any more chaos to ensue, humanity sent Commander Felix Regis to help unite Azur Lane once again to battle the Sirens, their true enemy.
Through hard work and time, Felix Regis managed to unite all of the factions and with their combined strength pushed the Sirens back, achieving peace for years to come.
Years later, Felix Regis grew old, had a family and had now passed on his duty as commander to his granddaughter, Azure Regis, at the ripe age of 20. Unlike her grandfather though, Azure had not met the Sirens, and her role as commander was not to lead Azur Lane into battle against the alienoid beings; her role was to oversee the shipgirls and send them to help humans around the world.
"Commander. Laffey, Indianapolis, Portland and Hornet have returned." the shipgirl named Fletcher informed. Fletcher, as her name suggests, is from the Fletcher class ships made by Eagle Union. As a human Fletcher has faded orange hair, tied into a long ponytail, maintained by a brown and yellow bow, she also sports a white sailor outfit with blue accents and a pair of green glasses.
"Thank you Fletcher." Azure replied, taking a small pile of papers from the shipgirl's hands, then dismissing the ship from her role. It was customary that the shipgirls were to write a report regarding their missions, this task usually fell to the leading ship of that particular mission.
Scanning the report, Azure was glad that no problems surfaced during the task that she sent the ships to do. Once she was happy with the results, the female commander returned to her work with the computer: which was the task of managing the oil supply, the money they were gaining and losing; as well as the ships that were out on missions and the ones who required more rest.
Typing away on her keyboard, plus the occasional moving of her onyx hair, Azure's concentration was fixated on her laptop to the point she had forgotten the time. It was mostly silent in her cream coloured office, it was only her at that moment. Though from time to time the breath of the wind was audible enough when it had entered the room.
However this tranquility didn't last long when the two dark oak doors opened, making the female commander lift her head from the computer screen.
Walking in, an elderly man with short white hair and wrinkly face walked his way into the office with a silver cane supporting him, a gentle smile painted on his face. Immediately the commander's face lit up, she quickly stood up from her seat, then quickly made her way to the old man.
