Azur Lane - A New Era

Ok, so this is rather painful to write, but I can't keep pushing this back.

I am very sorry, I don't think I can continue writing for Azur Lane - A New Era. Now, this genuinely something I've been thinking about for a month now. 

After my last update, I've been trying to think of ways to continue, however, I quickly realised everything I was trying to produce didn't feel fun. While the idea making was definitely there, I couldn't intertwine the plot points to make them coherent so I ended up thinking of things and scrapping ideas constantly. That's one reason, the other is simply I lost the drive to write the story. I did this story on nothing but excitement and I did not put any thought into it, once the excitement died down I lost my interest and everything I was making wasn't satisfying anymore.

I don't really think those are good reasons to drop a story, but I really have no excuses so I can only really apologise to everyone for this failure.

However, since I will not be finishing it up myself I will be allowing everyone to use this story as a prompt. Of course, there's not much because the main meat of the story was in the second act, so you guys are super free to just run with whatever idea you guys want. This isn't obligatory of course, you don't have to take it up and I won't be taking down the story so if anyone wants to return to a half baked book they can.

Apart from those, I am sorry for disappointing all of you wonderful readers. I didn't expect it to get the number of views it did get and that's what's painful about orphaning/abandoning this book it's solely because you all gave it the attention that I would have never dreamt of, so I am very very sorry. 

But at the same time also thank you for tuning in to it. Its short success wouldn't have been possible without all of you and as for those who may have followed me because of Azur Lane - A New Era and are only here because of Azur Lane, I may not be writing fanfics for the game any time soon, so if all of you wish to unfollow then it's no problem. I don't expect my followers to stay when I don't have anything that can interest them, you're all better off looking for authors that grab your attention and are willing to go through the extra miles to make a good story.

I'm also sorry to the ones who recently found this story, I have seen you all and I cannot express my gratitude enough for taking an interest. I can only thank you for saving or reading this book.

I cannot express all of the guilt I have for making you all wait so long, but also that this is what you guys get to see if you followed this book. I am very sorry.

You don't have to believe my apology, but this is the end of Azur Lane - A New Era.
