Work

It's a Sunday morning. You get up and start getting ready to head into work after your two-day break on which your supervisor told you to take. You feed your dogs and lock the back door. You get into your white Jeep wrangler and head off to the hospital. You walk in and immediately got a hug from your co-worker and best work friend: Elizabeth. She has ash brown hair and pine green eyes.

"Oh my god! Y/N! Where have you been? It's been so quiet without you!" Elizabeth exclaims as she runs over to meet you at the front desk. " Hey, Liz. I'm sorry but Mr Carter told me to take two days off for some reason," you explain to her as you walk to the staff lockers to put down your stuff. " That dude likes you. I don't see why you are still working for him-" you cut her off before she finishes," It's for the money Liz, I need it. Or I can't keep up feeding myself and my dogs!!" you tell her. " You inherited a gaint house from your uncle when he died and $50,000,000 and you're tight on money?" you give your friend a small smile as in trying to say ' I stuffed up'  without saying anything. Elizabeth lets out a large sigh as you both walk out into the ER finding some work to do. " Morning Jinnie!" you greet a male nurse with platinum blonde hair and dazzling chestnut eyes, the broadest shoulders you've ever seen and a laugh that sounds similar to windshield wipers on the glass. " Oh Y/N your back! It's so good to see you again," He replies. " Where did you go this time? Did Mr Carter give you an all-expenses-paid trip to Greece this time?" he jokes with you. " No, I didn't leave the state let alone the country," you say. after some quick catch up with your co-workers, you head off down the hall to your office. you turn a corner and bump into Mr Carter. " Oh Y/N! Welcome back. I hope you enjoyed your days off and I was about to down to see if you would like to come over to my place for dinner and a drink later?" Mr Carter asks you as you try not to make eye contact because this man makes you very uncomfortable." Ah! Good morning Sir. I did enjoy the break but-" Mr Carter cuts you off," Oh that's excellent! You can take any time off full pay and if you come to dinner with me I shall give you a 5% raise, how about that?" You're stunned. Is he trying to bribe you into having dinner with him? Is it working? Of course, that raise would be good but at what cause?" Um, Mr Carter, I am faltered but I would prefer to stay in tonight if you understand?" you ask nervously. " Of course I understand Y/N, I'll bring some food around at 7 30 tonight! How does that sound?" Mr Carter states. "Ah-" he cuts you off again, " Right I need to go now see you at 7 30. Bye!" you're left there, shocked, stunned, speechless and distorted. You walk to your office and sit down as you take a breather. Just then your phone started ringing with your Alan Walker-Faded Marimba remix ringtone. You pick it up smiling. 

" Joonie, hello."

" Hey Y/N, how are you?"

" I'm good, thank you. How are you?"

" I'm quite alright thank you for asking."

an awkward silence was admitted through the phone line.

"So." Namjoon starts 

"What are you doing?" He asks

" I'm at the hospital doing some paperwork." you make an 'ugh' sound that makes Namjoon chuckles. The chuckle that can make your heart melt into a puddle of lust.

"How about you? what are you doing?" 

"Well I'm actually at the Sunken Ship with a friend and he keeps nagging me to see where you are and what you're doing tonight because Hobi-Hyung, oops, Hoseok is the name of my friend," you hear another voice on the other end,

"HELLO Y/N!!!!" You smile as you hear a cheerful hello from whom you guess is Namjoon's friend a literal ray of hope and sunshine.

" Say hi to your friend for me Joonie ok?"

"Sure thing Princess." You cheek begin to burn a cherry red.  

" So what are you doing tonight Y/N?" Namjoon asks which snaps you out of your trance.

"Oh! Um, I'm staying home but my boss said he was going to come around for dinner at 7 30 so I think I'm having dinner with my boss?" You replied with a little shake in your voice.

"Oh." You hear the disappointment in his voice

"But I don't think he will be long so you could come over at 9 and it should be fine." you hastily say, in hopes that he won't be disappointed.

"No, it's fine Y/N. Have fun on your date with your boss." 

Namjoon hangs up. You groan as you hit your head on the desk. You look up to see: Lizzy, Jin, Charlie, Anna, Emma and Taehyung all standing around your door, which you left wide open while on your phone call with Namjoon. you stare at each of them wondering how long they had been there. you don't even ask but they all come flooding into your office and come around to give you one giant group hug. "Thanks, Guys. This means a lot to me." you all sit there engulfed in each others warmth and euphoria. Taehyung looks up and sees a familiar face standing there in the doorway to your office with flowers. " Jungkookie!" he sings as he prances over to the younger boy, kissing him.  " Isn't Jungkook the cutest?" Once Taehyung got up everyone else did as well, you look over to the voice to see: Lizzy, Anna, Emma and Charlie all drooling over the hunk that was currently sucking face with the sweet baby bear that is Taehyung. You roll your eyes and clear your throat getting everyone's attention." Well this has been fun and Jungkook it is good to see you again but I really must get back to work ok?" everyone agrees and leave your office so that you can get back to work.

time skip

After a long day of paperwork, you grab your stuff and walk out to see your friends standing by your car. "Guys? Want are you doing?" 

"We here so we can all go to your place and hang out!!" Anna says. 

" Yeah!" Tae chirps up, " You've been working so hard Y/N, we just want to hang out with you." Behind Taehyung, Jungkook stands with his head on Tae's shoulder and arms wrapped around his petite waist. " C'mon it's been forever since we all hanged out all together soooo let's goooooo!" Jin barks. You all laugh as you head to your house.
