Is it bad to hate your girlfriend?

I walked to my locker at the end of the day to get my back pack. Kennedy, my girl friend, walked up to me. She had pretty blonde hair and she was on the school's gymnastics team. I don't really like her, but I needed a girl friend and she wanted me badly so I gave her a chance. She actually was the most popular girl in school, but who I really loved was her best friend Steph.

"Excuse me hun, I'm right here."

Oh ya, Kennedy was here, I had been looking off into the distance.

"I'm going to practice - text me after?"

Ew. I didn't want to talk to her anymore then I had to.

"Sure hun"; I tried to sound as excited as I could.

The truth was Kennedy was hot, but annoying, and she was the only girl in this whole school I hadn't dated that I could date without ruining my reputation. When she would chew her gum really loud and twist her hair around her finger - I just lost it. I bet I'm the only guy in this whole school that absolutely HATES their girlfriend. How could a beautiful, sweet girl like Steph be bestfriends with a girl that was completely nothing like her - stupid, not funny, no talent, no... personality really?

Steph walked up. I held my breath. She was wearing dark wash jeans that fit her perfectly. She wore fuzzy moccisons and a navy V-neck shirt (cammi underneath obviously - she wasn't slutty like Kenndey or any of her friends). Her light brown hair laied on her thin shoulders and her ice blue eyes peirced into my heart. She was so beautiful - I could barely cetch my breathe.

"Hi Brad! How are you?"

She was so thoughtful.

"Brad?"

"Oh, sorry, yes I'm great"

"Well thats good, hahaha" Her laugh was adorable and when she laughed - her eyes twinkled.

"You ready Ken?" They had gymnastics practice, and they always walked together - which worked for me so I could see Steph everyday.

"Yep-" She turned to me.

"By babe."

I all I could think was - ew.
