I am getting off the plane I smell the air " back in new jersey" I say to myself as I am walking to my cab// time skip// " thank you" I say paying and getting out I walk into the house to see my mom on the couch " hi sweetie" my mom says I wave and drop my bags " come here" my mom says with open arms walking towards me I run into her arms falling apart immediately " I know baby" My mom says rubbing my back " I miss her so much" I say crying " I know" my mom says " where's dad?" I ask pulling away from the hug " on a business trip" my mom says I nod my head " the funerals tomorrow" my mom says I nod my head, pick up my bags and go to my room. // time skip// " mom" I say as I am walking down the stairs " yes" she says " I am going to Lea's " I say grabbing my car keys " ok " my mom says hugging me " please drive safe babygirl" my mom says I nod my head and walk out of the house // timeskip// I pull into her driveway and start crying // 15 minutes later// I wipe my tears and walk up to the door slowly knocking Ashley opens the door and I see her tear stained cheeks her puffy eyes that are also bloodshot " hey sweetie" Ashley says moving to the side I slowly walk in I look to the living room and see Lea's dad " hey Mr.Elui" I say he gets up and walks over to me " Kristen sweetie call me Mark " Mark says hugging me I hug back and start crying and so does he " I am so sorry" I cry into his shoulder "so am I" Mark says pulling away and looking me in the eyes " tea?" Ashley asks " Yes please" I say " Kristen I want you to see something" Mark says leading me to the stairs " I can't" I say sobbing " Kristen Lea loved you so much but she has something in her room for you" Mark says I slowly nod my head following him up the stairs, we walk in and I see a wedding dress " what is this" I ask walking towards the mannequin in the dress " Lea told us you were getting married and she wanted to do something nice so she designed and made you a wedding dress" Mark says I feel tears running down my face " it's gorgeous" I say sobbing " oh come here" Mark says with open eyes I run into his arms " I miss her so much" I say sobbing " me too " Mark says " we need to get rid of some stuff so we want you to take some" Mark says I shake my head no " I can't" I say looking around " please" Mark says " I'll come by tomorrow and grab some stuff " I say he nods " I should get home" I say he nods I walk downstairs " here is your tea" Ashley says handing me the cup Lea made for me when we were 15 I look at the cup and start crying " thank you" I say sniffling " anytime " Ashley says hugging me I hug her back " tell your mom I said hi" Ashley says I nod and wave goodbye as I walk out of the house and to my car. I get into the car and start sobbing I pull out and drive to Lea and I's old hang out spot I open my glove department and grab a pack of cigarettes and a bag of joints I walk to the edge of the hill and start smoking // time skip// I pull into the driveway and I am high I walk into the house and my mom gives me the look " where have you been young lady" my mom asks " I was at Ashleys" I say holding up the mug she gave me " well you smell like weed" my mom says " so what I smoked a little I am going through a lot mom" I say " sweetie I know " my mom says " no I don't think you do" I say " my best friend is dead she was my ride or die she fucking designed my wedding dress mom and Lea and I used to smoke a lot trust me so I went back to our old hang out spot and decided to get high MOM I NEED THIS I NEED FOR MY PAIN TO LEAVE I CAN'T MOVE ON WITHOUT HER" I scream falling to the ground in tears " baby" my mom falls with me to catch me which she  does " ok baby calm down just go to bed please baby girl" my mom says I slowly stand back up and nod walking up the stair and into my bedroom I post a quick picture of my bloodshot eye before going to bed I close my eyes and fall asleep.
