What He Does On Your Birthday (Short)

He wakes up.

Makes your kids breakfast.

Gets your kids ready in the morning.

Watched tv with them so you can sleep a little longer.

Nic: What should we make mummy for breakfast?

Addy: Cupcakes!

Joshua: Fruit!

Kids start fighting and he settles it quickly.

Nic: How about we make the cupcakes first and then we make a fruit smoothie for mum. Sound good?

Both: Yeah!

Addy helps Nic with the cupcakes while Joshua watches more tv and plays with his cars.

When it's time Joshua helps Nic with the smoothie and puts it in the fridge so it can stay cold.

Nic puts the frosting on the cupcakes and puts them on your birthday plate along with your smoothie.

Nic: Joshua, Addy go get her presents please.

They bring back the presents that they got you along with Nic's and they also brought their pictures that they drew.

They follow Nic upstairs to your room.

Nic: Ok when we go in we have to be quiet because she's sleeping.

Addy and Joshua hold up their fingers and make the shhhhh noise.

Nic walks into your shared room very quietly.

Nic: Ok 1...2...3.

They start singing happy birthday to you and this brings a smile to your face.

All: Happy Birthday dear mummy. Happy birthday to you!

You hug the kids.

Y/N: Awe thanks guys. Kids, dad wanna help me blow out the candles?

They nod like the excited children and parent that they are.

You four blow them out together on film as a family.

You open the kids presents first and they bring tears to your eyes. Then you open Nic's.

Nic ended up getting you some really nice clothes, purses and work out equipment.

Nic: Kids leave mum and dad alone for a few minutes do not go outside unless you come up here and ask.

Both: Yes daddy!

He shuts the door.

Nic: Y/N...

Y/N: Nic... thank you so much for today. I wasn't expecting any of this at all.

Nic: Anything for you my love.

Even after 10 years of marriage he still makes you blush, your heart flutters every time you see him and when he walks into the room you fall in love with him all over again.

Nic sits on the edge of the bed and grabs your hand and takes off your rings and sits them on your bedside table.

Nic: Y/N ever since the day I met you I knew you were the one I wanted to be with but I didn't know how special you were until we had Joshua and Addy.

Pulls out a blue velvet box.

Nic: Y/N you bring in a light to my life and both me and the kids love you dearly.

This made you blush.

Nic: So Y/N....

Gets off the bed to get on one knee.

Y/N: Nic? What are you doing?

Opens the blue velvet box only to see the most gorgeous ring ever.

Nic: Y/N...

Y/N: Yes...

Nic: Will you make me the happiest man in the world and marry me again?

You nodded your head up and down.

Y/N: Yes!

He puts the ring on your finger.

Y/N: I love it thank you Nic.

Nic: Your welcome Y/N.

You grab his face and kiss him and he kisses you back.

Nic: Happy Birthday Y/N.

You kiss him again out of happiness.

Y/N: Best. Birthday. Ever.
